  Was in the market for a new belt so I went with the grip6 I’ve seen suggested on here. A friend at work also recommended groovelife because of their 94 year “no BS” warranty. Supposedly covers lost or damaged belts for 94 years so I figured it fits as well assuming it really is a “No BS” Warranty

  Yeah I pretty much only wear the grip6 belt now. I don’t even know where my grovelife ones is now.

  Socks not working out

  I only really wear two brands of socks - Darn Tough and Grip6. Both have lifetime warranties. I have more Grip6 and I've used their warranty more with perfect results. And the climate in my area goes from 105F to -5F and I'm a fairly active guy for someone with a desk job. You can't go wrong with either brand.

  Best thing to buy for $100

  Not sure if socks are important to u but they are 2 me because my feet sweat and smell like vinegar. Until I switched to wool socks and zero smell and super comfortable. 2 companies darn tough and grip 6 both make wool socks in all shapes ,sizes and colors and both guaranteed for life. Sock gets a rip,send them back and receive a new pair.

  My 2025 BIFL products this year, how about you?

  Leatherman replaced 2 multi tools for me this year for free. My Smartwool socks just turned 10 years old and still going. Got my Frye boots resoled - like new. Grip6 belt still looks new. I also learned how to darn holes in clothing, more of a BIFL skill than product.

  Ordered a few lifetime warranty socks from different brands. From left to right-Grip6,Paka,Cloudline. Hopefully they live up to the hype. They are all super soft

  I'm surprised about the grip6 socks. I bought a bunch of pairs last year for black friday. None of them show any signs of wear. I wear them daily and out them in the dryer. Would happily buy them again!

  I came here to say the same thing. I did just rub through the belt-end holder loop (whatever that's called) so now I have to tuck the tip into my pants belt-loop (which doesn't work with some of my pants that have smaller loops), but the belt itself is still in great shape after more than five years. I've thought about buying a Grip6, but I really appreciate the very slight stretchiness of the Arcade belt (Mine is one of their thicker braided ones).

  Late to to the party here, but just wanted to drop my rec here. I absolutely love Grip6. All of my belts and socks are Grip6 and never had any of them fail. I even picked up their first version of their wallet and have had no issues. Highly recommend.

  Bombas Socks have really let me down. Any recommendations welcome!

  I recommend Grip6 socks. I bought a pack of six 3 years ago and am still rotating them at least once a week and have some Christmas ones I got because they were clearance so have 7 pairs. They are wearing great and have just the right thickness. And one sock tore when I caught a nail in it. Replaced for free! I personally don’t like darn toughs. They just don’t fit my feet right. But they are quality socks!

  Grip6. Get a black strap and a black buckle. Fits your description. The strap is some sort of nylon/canvas/kevlar weave. Unless you try to melt it with fire or cut it with a knife, it will last. I’ve had my buckles and straps for going on ten years now and they look brand new. I wear them every single day. Black on black looks very sleek too. Very minimal. I have worn mine with a suit and tie to church and funerals, to grad school, around the house, and working in the yard. I shouldn’t have to say this in this sub, but they are actually bifl.

  Best long lasting fabric belt for white collar pros?

  2nd on the Grip 6 I’ve got a couple and it’s the only thing I wear casually. They’ve got lots of buckle options to play with if you’re looking for minimalist, but still have some visual interest other than a metal rectangle. I have high quality leather belts that are 15+ years old and still going strong so I’m not fully off that yet.

  The grip6 by a long shot. I wear mine almost daily and have about 3 of them now. The groove life ones isn’t even close to as durable, I still have it and it’s still in good shape but it just doesn’t store as well and the elastic eventually stretches out, it’s not a lot but I think it I wore it as much as my grip 6 it would be nearly ruined by now

  Looking for Grip 6 Genuine Reviews

  Excellent brand, I own multiple belts from them, my favorites are the carbon fiber and titanium ones. Right now I think they have the carbon fiber for 40% off on their "factory seconds sale" which really isn't much of an issue since their quality control is very strict. Their wallets are awesome too, I ditched my Ridge one for the Grip6 and never looked back, a lot easier to remove the cards.

  Half of my darn tough socks have holes in them

  Where Does "Buy It for Life" Not Make Sense?

  On socks, there are two types of people in the world - those that always have mismatches at the end of laundry and those that rarely -if ever - do. I'm one of the latter, so socks have been a good investment for me. I moved to Grip6 wool blend socks and I've had three pair that needed replaced over the past four years. My shoes smell better, as do my feet, and I'm more comfortable at the end of a long day than in poly or even cotton socks. The lifetime guarantee is extra, as far as I'm concerned. Regarding things that don't make sense to BIFL, to me that is your first set of tools. I'm not saying don't buy things that will do the job well, but don't buy a snap-on ratchet first thing. Buy a good one and if you use it enough to wear it out, probably time for something that will really last.

  What do you look for in a BIFL belt?

  I like grip6 so far. I don't own a full grain leather belt, so I can't really say anything about them, but the laminated leather belts I've used tend to wear horribly at the buckle from repetitive use. The downside of grip6 it that it isn't reinforced, so if you like carrying things (I carry a leatherman), so anything remotely rigid will also flex the belt about a tangential axis

  I’ve only tried their belts as every other belt I’ve ever owned has fallen apart within 2-3 years. The grip6 belt i have shows no sign of wear at all a year in. Pretty great.
