Buy Once Cry Once items?
Yes, current one is Arcteryx. It's good, very well-made, but it actually doesn't quite have the 'feature set' of my older one, which was a Haglöfs. Haglöfs no longer make anything like the same design as they did back then, otherwise I'd have just got the same again. I have a few quite specific requirements. It needs to be just a shell, very large because of what it needs to go over, not because I'm very large - so just buying one three sizes too big doesn't work. Very big inside pockets. So the one I got has that, but the zip is too small to work easily with gloves & the hood adjustment isn't as precise.
