Hanks Belts makes pretty wildly nice leather belts, lots water buffalo leather. I use one as a gun belt and it has lost absolutely no rigidity or shape in years and years.

BIFL: The humble gun belt
I’ve had 2 hanks belts for 5 years now. Brown and black so i can wear whatever i want with them. Never had such a high quality belt in my life. Only thing I’m missing are a couple of “fancier” buckles so the belts don’t stand out as casual when I’m at a wedding or black tie type event.

The thicker the leather and how it is tanned will also affect how long you can expect a leather belt to last. Hanks Belts has 100 year guarantee on their belts and they also tell you specifically what you are getting. Personally I would go with one of their belts which cost over a hundred but they do have frequent sales. I bought one of their Premier Belts and have had it for almost nine years and it still besides forming to my body which leather does has no hole stretch. Based on what you have chosen I would highly recommend checking out their esquire premium belt. It's $160 but can easily cost $140 if not less on sale.

BIFL belts at the most competitive prices?
Wait for hanks belts sale. I forget what it’s called but I got two of their belts for like 100 bucks. Great deal and the belts are fantastic. The sale is for ones that were returned or weren’t perfect for their QA checks but I cannot tell the difference both belts are came in brand new condition. I wear the black one daily for work and the brown one a few times a week. It’s random in terms of what you’ll get so I got the black every day wear and a brown gun belt.

I just bought four gunner belts from them for the holidays and they were the exact same quality as the two I've been wearing for nearly 10 years. Can't speak to the "Everyday Belt", but it appears that they do use a thinner hide for them than the gunner.

Did you ask them OP?? Own prob half a dozen of his belts from 10yo to 2yo. All very high quality. The last one was the double bison. Pretty sure you could tow a tank with it.

Just looked it up, and it looks like their 1912 and essential belts would be solid options. Thick leather and it looks like they changed the buckle for a better once since I saw them last.
