Deodorant and self-cleaning products have become a sponsored hell scape. Fellow men, what do you use?
I buy Harry’s. It’s a good brand, works well, is affordable, and is simple. I also enjoy their body wash and hair gel

Deodorant and self-cleaning products have become a sponsored hell scape. Fellow men, what do you use?
I tried Harry's body wash because it was on sale at Walmart. Now I use their deodorant, hair putty and shampoo. Good stuff.

If you look, Harry’s and Lume sell both deodorants and antiperspirants. Those are two different products as classified by the FDA.

I don’t worry about sweat, I’m only concerned with odor. I use Harry’s deodorant, gel kind. Works well, feels good, smells good, makes me not stink, doesn’t have weird ingredients. Good stuff.

Call me crazy but anti-perspirant makes me sweat worse than regular deodorant. I’ve been diagnosed with hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) but that’s mostly in my hands and feet. Since I quit using deodorant with aluminum, my armpits sweat *considerably* less. Plus, the aluminum ruins clothing over time. Idk, maybe I’m an anomaly when it comes to deodorant. I tried prescription anti-perspirant from a dermatologist in high school and had an awful reaction resulting in chemical burns in my armpits. Anyways, I guess I have sensitive armpits. I use Harry’s regular deodorant. Old Spice causes a rash. I probably don’t have to, but just to be safe, I usually reapply a little during my lunch break. Pits and crotch.

Recently tried Harry’s deodorant, I like the Stone scent (charcoal & lime) I like it but I did get a small irritation about 2 weeks ago and I stopped using all deodorant until it went away last week. Trying Harry’s again because I enjoy the scent

Best Stocking Stuffers?
Harry’s razors would always be a good one. I love mine. They’re cheap at Costco as well. A nice razor for a man that’s always used cheap ones or disposables really changes the game. I would never go back to a cheaper one now

Is there anything you're convinced is "the cheaper the better"?
Agreed. I knock off the big (4-7 days) stubble with a double-edged safety razor. Then use Harry’s that I got on sale with the signup promotion. This will last me years. The double edge blades are so cheap, and it’s easier to clean out the stubble that clogs up the disposable units.

A word of appreciation for oneblades
I kept an old Braun in my car for when I forgot to shave but I gave up on electric shavers for everyday use and used Harry's razors.

any razor recommendations?
Here's the secret that very few know, hear me now and believe me later: 1. Get your favorite razor. www.harrys.com is my favorite as they are name brand quality for dollar store prices. They were/are the OEM for Dollar Shave Club. Get a pack of your favorite replaceable heads and install a new one on the body. 2. Get a coffee cup. 3. Get some mineral oil. 100% pure unscented kind, usually found in drug aisle with the laxatives. 4. Fill the coffee cup with about 2" of mineral oil. 5. Store the razor, business side down, in the mineral oil. 6. Prior to shaving, balance the razor so it drains while you lather. 7. Shave as normal, clean the blade as normal and really whip it as dry as you can. 8. Store the razor, business side down, in the mineral oil. If you travel, you can do the same with an old peanut butter jar with a lid. This will make your razor last months before replacement. Now you are wondering how. A razor does not dull like everyone on the planet thinks as it being dull is the easy answer vice the science reason. The science reason is the blade surface corrodes due to oxidation, so when your blade spends 23 hours and 50 minutes without oxygen submerged in mineral oil vice spending 24 Hours with oxygen, the corrosion is almost nil. Why mineral oil? Its cheap and its the only oil that will not get nasty. If you use another oil, it will work and after a week or so, it will smell like dumpster fire at a Thai restaurant and likely cause MonkeySARS.

BIFL razor for the not so hairy man?
Harry’s for the win! You don’t have to have the subscription plan as the refills can be purchased at Target, Walmart and in my neighborhood CVS. My wife and I both use (with different handles ) this brand. Great quality and very consistent for the last 10 years. They have intro kits for under $20. with a single blade which won’t break the bank.

BIFL razor for the not so hairy man?
Safety razor is the answer. I keep a Harry's around for when I'm traveling/if I'm in a hurry, because you can tear your face up with a safety razor if you rush, but I get the absolute smoothest shave from my safety razor.
