Hose that last outdoor
Haws makes good watering cans, fwiw. Expensive AF for what it is, tho. I have a Chapin 2 gallon one, the plastic is very thick, so hopefully it lasts.

Who has a Haws watering can, and how old is it?
I have a Haws can that’s only maybe 5 years old, BUT I’m ADHD A.F. and frequently forget tools outside in the weather (I wander away to do something else) and it still looks mint like the day I bought it! Can only imagine with more care that one would last for decades.

NYT just put out a list of their BIFL picks
I can attest to the Haws copper watering can although I have the 1 Liter. Bought it in 2019 and have used it consistently for 6 years. Didn’t need to spend $85 (at the time) on a watering can but damn does it look pretty.

NYT just put out a list of their BIFL picks
I don't really care for All-Clad, the handles are the opposite of ergonomic and I hate rivets in the cooking surface of a pan. I prefer Demeyere. The handles aren't perfect, but they're way better than All-Clad, and they're welded so it's not a bitch to clean on and around the stupid rivets. I agree with them on Haws, but the comment about the size is dumb. They make many sizes, just pick a bigger one.

I guess if you leave it outside. Mine is 10 years old and still fine. I think BIFL must be balanced with cost. A copper watering can (HAAS) is $60, a plastic one is $4.
