Is there a name for brands that only focus on highest quality?
Look at the German brand Heimat for example. Their main line of wool is “virgin” wool, which is largely unprocessed. It is rougher and fluffier than other wools, but is also more durable and insulating. So a Smartwool hat from REI, while wool, will not behave the same as a Heimat hat. https://heimat-textil.com/collections/hats
