Is there anything you're convinced is "the cheaper the better"?
3/8" corded electric drill. Never needs charging, performs any basic task around the house. $20-30 and readily available at any store that sells power tools, so no tears shed when you burn up the motor, tear it up or somehow lose it during a move. My dad used them exclusively for decades as he couldn't justify the cost of the NiMH/NiCad based tools, or their long charge time. Eventually we gifted him a Hitachi 1/4 drive Li-Ion impact driver and 3/8 cordless drill combo kit, but he always has a corded drill with a dedicated extension cord handy.

Hitatchi didn’t want their name associated with it anymore, since they’re a power tool company. As I understand it, they sold the patent to Vibratex but still make the motors in Hitatchi factories.

The plugin one. The new rechargeables will eventually die, because batteries don't last forever. Sadly, Hitcahi sold the product to a third-party. So, who knows the quality of the news ones.

I've never worn out a LELO. I had an old rabbit (Ina) that got a bit noisier after time. TBH I just upgraded because I wanted something even fancier (Soraya). I don't know how old my Hitachi is, but damn that thing has to be the gold standard for a BIFL vibe
