  Someone gave me a ["humangear capCAP+"](https://www.humangear.com/shop/p/capcap) lid, and I've since bought them for several nalgenes. They're very durable, and they give you all the benefits of a wide mouth and a bottle sized opening.

  Even better is the [humangear capCAP+](https://nalgene.ca/products/humangear-capcap-for-wide-mouth-bottles?variant=39769781665878) it's the best of everything. Wide mouth for ice and cleaning, narrow mouth for drinking.

  The 32oz Nalgene bottle

  I bought a Nalgene with a HumanGear cap back in 2016 and went on a lot of adventures with a now-ex. During this time, I covered the bottle with a lot of stickers from our trips, so I decided to retire the bottle and buy another in 2023. I bought a new HumanGear cap to match the color on my new bottle, and the strap on the new one broke ~1 year in. I had to switch back to the one I bought in 2016 and am still using it.
