What’s a purchase that’s not fun, not flashy but now you swear by it?
I just have 3 new pairs of Injinji merino liner socks, crew height, to replace my two worn out ones. I don't know that much about other types sorry to say. I just want liner socks, specifically *without* padding.

BIFL wool toe socks?
Injinji has merino wool socks that I really like. They've held up well for about two years. They're not quite Darn Tough quality, but they're solid and probably the best you're going to find.

Recommendations for Wool Toe Socks?
I’m obsessed with ridding POLY from my life and i’ve searched and searched for merino wool toe socks; everything is “blend”, with poly or nylon, the best ones I found are the Injinji mid weight wool trail toe socks…. 75% merino wool + nylon…. best you can do… maybe i’ll start my own brand

Y’all. I need to upgrade my sock game! What’s your favorite sock brand that is cozy and doesn’t pile or rip easily?
Check out thin Injinji toe socks or xotoes, both of those have been really good to me. If you want really thin wool socks SmartWool cycling socks (zero cushion) are what I wear over toe socks when I'm breaking in new boots and don't want more sock thickness.

These Smartwool socks lasted me less than a month…
My favorite quality for socks is darn tough. All the smartwool ones I have bought wore through at the heel within a year for me. I wear injinji, balega, and many other brands but smartwool is the only brand that consistently seems to wear out for me. I am pretty gentle on my shoes and socks. It was to the point that I have quit purchasing smartwool.
