  What Is The Best Water Fiter Or Filtration System For Home?

  hmm ive read like a million reviews for basically every brand of filtration system, went down this dumb rabbit hole i regret. I'll list down what i mainly heard about them: 1. Springwell is okay-ish, terrible for city water however (filters out important stuff like disinfectants used in the water). customer service was terrible as well 2. aquasana is pretty good, but long term costs for the filters and maintainence can be super high 😅 3. Brita aint good for a home, mainly for a smaller scale, but does good in that department 4. berkey is bad. from all this i personally recc [this one](https://d3oc4tmn8qmbnq.cloudfront.net/?q=GMKAO1978) from ispring. this and waterdrop imo are like the top options. make sure you research your water more than you research the filters so you have a better idea on what to buyy

  lol true berkey fans will defend it forever, but yeah the lack of transparent testing’s hard to ignore. they’re def sturdy, just overpriced for what they offer. under-sink RO systems or stainless gravity filters are a better long-term bet imo. ispring, apec, aquasana all solid and certified. u just gotta fire out which ones best for u. also saw a site called reddit vetted that compiles which filters get the most real recs across subs. kinda cool way to see what’s consistently working for ppl n take it as fyi

  What is the BEST water filter/purifier?

  Most multi stage systems are plastic, holding together some filters connected by tubing. As others have mentioned, your water will only be as good as the filters it passes through. If you have issues with your water, no-name cheap replacement filters are a gamble. I searched for a long time and ended up with iSpring, which I've touted before, and was glad someone else here mentioned it before me. Not shilling. I have the PH100 RO with remineralization filter. There are many models. I chose this one due to the RO 1:1 waste water ratio. Many waste a lot more water. The RO part itself is Filmtec MC1US TW30-1812-100 100GPD Reverse Osmosis RO membrane filter cartridge. I've dealt with the company directly and had fantastic service. Bought the original set up at depot

  What is the BEST water filter/purifier?

  I don't know what's the best, only what I use - I have an iSpring 6-stage RO system - gets water down to less than 25ppm contaminants (our direct water is about 400ppm). Next time, I may consider the 7-stage system, which adds a UV filter to the system. Darnit! Just noticed that they have a booster pump available as well, now... I feel the need....
