  What about tanker boots? Instead of a zipper or laces they have two belts. One is for the instep and the other wraps the column a couple times. A boot jack to get them off, and boot hook to get them on. As for zip specifically, I believe Corcoran has that. Corcoran isn’t a great brand though and the boots are really tough to brake in. They’re not known for falling apart though, I think they just cut a lot of corners in materials.  I just remembered a really cool zipper thing, it lets you make any boot with only eyelets into a zip boot.   idk aboot danner ive had 3 different boots all were subpar. jim green, nicks or jk boots worlds better.

  White’s. Wesco. Frank’s. JK’s. A pair of Jobmasters is going to last longer than any of the boots you’re talking about. Unless you just want to get a pair of glued boots from 5.11.

  Suggestions for long last work boots

  I second the recommendation of Nicks. I have multiple pairs and obsessively read the Nicks subreddit. Nicks, White’s, JK, and Frank’s, all based in Spokane, are essentially identical in how they’re made. Even a gently used pair from Ebay would be a good buy.
