Looking for women’s boxer briefs that aren’t Woxer
Great question, I now only have various Jockey brand, and had a look. The cotton blend has a very small package area, but the 100% poly are quite large. Attached is a photo, cotton blend (right sz M), poly (on left sz L.) https://i.imgur.com/DvWXlxv.jpeg . I'm not sure about other brands!

I’ve been wearing Jockey Mid-Way briefs for over 30 years. (Not the same pair). I love them.

Men’s pouch underwear that survives gym + running + hiking?
Jockey anti-chafe. I’ve worn them everyday for 5+ years and that includes skiing, running, swimming, paintball, and whatever else. Supportive but not too tight, have held up unbelievably well.

Looking for women’s boxer briefs that aren’t Woxer
Thank you for asking, I hope I can help. Gotta say right off the bat that underwear is just never bifl. Men make that mistake and it's often our responsibility here to make that disclaimer, I'm sure you know but I have to say it :) Next is the obligatory comment about Duluth trading co boxers. It is a real upgrade over the Woxer. There's also some models with Buck Naked that have fun prints. Now for more thoughts, as we are now leaving established BIFL dogma and wisdom, and entering my thoughts! My partner wrote woxer for some time, I've never been impressed by the quality, just the cool styles like tie dye. If you want the same quality without pink tax, just get men's boxers. I suggest getting men's jockey boxers at target. **These are probably your best bet** as it sounds like you're less concerned with quality, more price, which makes sense for disposable clothing. Also honorable mentions are American eagle and any other basic mall brands. They are all exactly the same as Woxer imo. That said, there is real value in good underwear, so if you're interested, take a note from Europeans: If you want high quality/long lasting underwear you may be interested in "Falke hipster warm" which is 2 ply and very well constructed. But you pay for the German Labor and transparent about suppliers. In addition to domestic and EU standards for workplace safety, they regularly audit their suppliers in more lax countries , ensuring their suppliers adhere to ethical standards for not just labor, but also the responsible use of dyes and living conditions for the animals that produce wool , etc. This is just not as not cheap as Woxer (Sri Lanka with opaque suppliers and no known codes of conduct for employees.), or Jockey (some premium models made in USA lines with American suppliers; the rest is made in central America and South Asia.) . I hope this is informative!

Best boxer briefs with pouch
Jockey anti-chafe. Just opened a fresh pack, still have a pair or two from when I discovered them 6or so years ago.

Reasonably priced natural fiber clothing
Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Jockey. All the Walmart classics have 100% cotton clothing. Found some decent stuff at Target and Old Navy too!

How do synthetic base layers compare to merino wool base layers?
No synthetic dont work as well. If you are in an absolute crunch for budget, but need some right now, then consider cotton ones. I had a pair of jockey cotton ones (the older ones used to be thick, they new ones are doable if you layer). The new ones I think are 60pc cotton. The old ones i have are 90pc cotton non stretch.maybe search for cotton ones i had heard something called indera and Uniqlo had em.

Updated list of BIFL men underwear in Amazon
Hanes ComfortSoft Beefy and Jockey Combed Cotton Classics are usually the safest place to start if you want something durable and easy to find on Amazon, especially when you need larger sizes. Most failures come from weak fabric blends or waistbands that tire out far too fast. If you want something that lasts, look for long staple or combed cotton since shorter fibres wear thin surprisingly quickly. A bit more fabric weight helps as well, somewhere around 180 to 200 gsm feels solid without being bulky... the super light stuff breaks down before you realise it. Waistbands do better with a plush or brushed backing because bare elastic against the skin loses its elasiticity as it dries and cracks. For bigger sizes, pick brands that actually scale their patterns. Some labels just stretch the usual cut and the result is a waistband that strains, stitching that gives way and a shape that never feels right and it keeps getting worse because nothing was designed for that fit Skip anything marketed as high spandex comfort, the blends sag early and the elasticity fails well before the cotton does.

Men’s underwear that actually lasts does it exist?
Jockey boxer briefs are my go to. Comfortable and they last. For summer in shorts I also have 32 degree cool boxer briefs that have shorter legs that don’t show when wearing shorts. They are a close second to jockey but I’m only a few years wearing them know (none have died!) with jeans the 32s can ride up a little

Cotton underwear recommendations
definitely check out uniqlo. i also like [these ones](https://d19h9m82wn0kp9.cloudfront.net/?q=6IGW5WY816) (86% cotton) from amazon. they hold up well in the wash and don’t get weirdly stretched out over time in my experience. other brands i’d say worth trying are jockey (the classic cotton ones, not the microfiber ones) and also pact if you like the more organic/fair trade vibe.

Best Boxer Briefs For Men
I do the "trunks" in both brands and Jockey has both 3" and 4" versions. I think 3" is what I have an they're similar to Calvins more or less.

Brands That Used to Be BIFL — But Aren't Anymore?
Jockey. I have a few pairs of boxers and boxer briefs that still hold up after over a decade. Elastic is holding up, no stray threads, still doesn't look ragged. Same with their undershirts. The past 8 years or so, any underwear goes to shreds in a couple years, and now recently their shirts too.

Another vote for Jockey. They're the best quality cotton & most durable that I've ever bought. They have several cuts/styles. Plus, you can usually find multi pack boxes on clearance at department stores like Kohls.

Cotton Women’s underwear
I have started buying Jockey from the Jockey store but I’m sure you can find in dept stores. I had been looking for something cotton, full coverage, stays in place. Bought some, very happy with my purchase. Had bought some other brands from Kohls and Walmart but they didnt fit or feel good.

Jockey for reliable clothing in the US?
i have a set of their made in america tshirts. theyre decent quality, but they are light so i dont expect them to last forever, plus theyre supposed to be undershirts their other stuff is also probably fine, standard stuff that has a lifespan, but understandably, since they make stuff for "high wear" areas. their boxers were too short for me personally

BIFL Summer underwear that doesnt cling to your sack
Clothing in general are hard to call BIFL ! But when you find ones that hold up and are comfortable you have to sing their praises. I also like jockey, the longer leg version is very comfortable

Plain but quality mens clothing that isn't too showy
My go-tos for high quality clothing without logos (or at least not obvious ones): Brooks Brothers Faherty Jockey (look for your black tee here) Duck Head Club Monaco Peter Millar Also, for stitched on logos (not embroidered ones) you can buy a seam ripper. It’s a cheap little tool that you can use to remove the logos and leave basically no trace.

Recommendations for comfortable, cotton women's underwear?
The Jockey 100% cotton Elance bikini underwear is not seamless, but it also doesn't dig into the skin and show that way. I bought some pairs 20 years ago, wore them a million times, machine washed and dried them, and I still have one of the pairs completely in tact. It took me forever to figure out what they were because I couldn't read the label information anymore, and once I found them I bought enough to last long gaps between laundry days. I don't think any underwear is truly buy for life, but I've had a lot of different kinds of underwear and these are the longest lasting, most comfortable, and least bothersome for me. They don't ride up like most other pairs do with me.

Recommendations for Boxer Briefs
I’ve sworn by Jockey Mid-Way briefs for more than 30 years. When I was younger, sweatier and more active a pair would last a year. In my 50s now I toss them after about 2y because they get a little saggy and faded but still have life left in them.

Guys that wear thongs.....
I had prostate cancer 7 years ago and the drug regimen I took caused my genitalia to shrink. I experienced some periodic pain from the spermatic chord and switched from my boxers to briefs. I tried many different kinds, found that women's bikinis had the most support. I was in a Jockey outlet store and saw that there were thongs for sale for $2. I picked up a couple and tried them out. I couldn't believe how good they felt. Having something between my cheeks took a little time getting used to but after I while, I realized that I didn't even think about it any more. I like the Jockey seamless varieties, and I wear black. I have tried some other brands that I found on Amazon, but the Jockey brand is well made with consistent sizing. I wear bikinis or thongs, but tend toward thongs in the summer if I'm wearing shorts of a light or synthetic fabric because I don't want VPL if I wear a bikini under them. With jeans, it's either one.

Why does everyone say Duluth Trading makes the best underwear?
I thought I'd responded. They contributed to yeast infections and were frankly kind of scratchy. I wear 100% cotton undies now. Duluth does have some cotton undies. But, I also wore they're other meshy ones. They did not work for me. I mostly wear cotton Jockeys now.

Looking for alternative to Hanes x-temp boxer shorts
The best alternative were the Jockeys, but you need to watch for sales. On Amazon - They are 18 USD currently, but found on sale for 4-7 USD. Second place were the Expertoftio where there are 5 packs for 40 USD currently on Amazon.
