  #1 baby on the way. Which stroller would you recommend for a newborn that can ideally be used until age 3?

  Full size strollers are way too heavy. I totally switched to a solid travel stroller, and it’s 13lb. It’s the Joolz Aer2 but you’re not going to save any money by the time you get all the accessories like bassinet, car seat adapter, bar, cup holder

  Joolz Aer2. My full size strollers are gathering dust. This thing is so solid and has adapters for a car seat and also has a bassinet (all purchased separately)

  Joolz has a ten year transferable warranty! Plus it is repairable so if something does break, you can order parts for it! We have the Joolz Aer Plus (now the Aer 2) and bought the adapters to use with Nuna Pipa car seat. That way you don’t need to buy the bassinet either, and it does lie flat for a bigger baby. It was literally the best purchase we made! Baby is now 18 months and it still works great. We felt so much freedom to get out and about, even with a newborn. It gives you the mobility of a doona but you can use it 4x longer. We take it to the pharmacy, park, everywhere. We’ve travelled all over Asia with it. It does it all!

  We just bought a bugaboo fox as it fitted out lifestyle best, but were torn between that and the uppababy vista. The upper baby definitely has a better reputation as far as customer service goes and replacing broken parts, so from a bifl perpective this might be the answer. We went with the fox because they seem to hold resale value better and mostly because they are very tall my husband is 6,7 and it’s the only pram he didn’t hunch to push. We plan on buying a joolz aer+ if we feel we need a travel stroller (because the bugaboo is HEAVY) at a later date second hand. Highly recommend getting a car seat that is for your baby at the time, a child’s body goes through so many changes and I simply don’t believe what suits a new born suits a toddler and what suits toddler suits a six year old.
