  I wish vehicles were still BIFL…

  I'm 71 and all the Detroit iron I owned in the past doesn't hold a candle to my KIA Sportage. 93K miles, no repairs, and still looks new inside and out.

  What’s something you’ve had so long it feels like it’s legally part of your family

  My 2003 Honda Element. I bought it because it was really good for dog rescue. Thousands of miles and thousands of dogs. When I look at it I see all those scared but hopeful faces. Even the English Bulldog who chewed up my right passenger door (despite his crimes he got a great family).

  In an age of things designed to be replaced, what currently-produced 1) trucks, and 2) cars come closest to BIFL?

  My Honda Element is 21 years old, over 200,000 and only grumpy on very cold days
