What is the best quality camp chair like the type in this image?
There's a company called Kermit that makes really good chairs that breakdown and go together in seconds and are probably more compact and lighter than any of these chairs can get. They're American made so the price is pretty steep (~$300) but they make an extra wide one as well.

Kermit chairs are the bomb. I remember when Kermit was "testing" them. He wanted to make a motorcycle friendly chair. Easy to pack, easy to store. "have a seat in my chair" usually led to a sale. Kermit is gone now, but his brilliant chair lives on and is made in the USA in Tennessee.

I got the walnut version, but my puppy has somewhat bitten a few of the wood pieces so it's not the best looking anymore... Teeth marks all over. but I use it daily at my desktop and love it when I'm out camping.

I've never taken mine to a festival. It's an easily packable motorcycle camping chair for me. Well, if you take a chair on a motorcycle, that's more glamping than camping, but I'm old enough to appreciate it. They are very well made.

I bought a kermit so many years ago and i LOVE it. we take them on all our cross-country rides. We gave them as christmas gifts to our kids and my son has it set up in his living room. Its like a lazyboy for the outdoors and whether we're camping, in the back yard or at concerts this is the only chairs we take with us. lots of our friends have them too and they do really nice embroidery (i can't uplaod a photo but there's a whole gang of us and our kermits!)
