I see a lot of Contigo travel mugs like this at the thrift store. Just popularity or are they problematic?
They're alright, but I would recommend any of Kinto or Fellow's travel mugs for more durability and ease of cleaning. I currently have a Kinto as my daily driver, but I'm looking to upgrade to one of the 20oz Fellow ones with the ceramic interior.

Best water bottle to take everywhere? One that can last very very long?
Unusual suggestion here: Kinto water bottle. It’s small, durable and nicely designed. I reach for it over my yeti almost every time. It’s not designed for sports or hiking or whatever and has no insulation. It’s just easy to carry, fit in a bag, unobtrusive on a desk. Water is always handy because I actually use it.
