Carry-on luggage for european customer
Weight limits on intra-European, flights might be something else to consider. So lighter luggage is always something I looked for. For many, many years, I traveled with a soft-sided Kipling wheeled carry-on. I'm talking about 40-50 flights/year and countless Eurostar and other train trips and the wheels survived many cobblestone for years. My inexpensive Kipling carry-on held up better than some of my more expensive past carry-ons. I've never had a hard-sided carry-on, though, so I can't comment on those.

After my Disneyworld with my family my old Jansport backpack just isn't cutting it anymore. Time for me to get an upgrade.
I don't know if they are still high quality or not, but I have had my Kipling backpack for 15 years now and have been using it almost daily. It has held up amazingly and I expect to get many more years out of it. I have no clue what model it is, but the closest I see to it now is the Seoul model. Now, it does seem that they have changed their fabric from the traditional kinda dappled waterproof canvas material, so I do not know if it would still hold up as well as their old material. If mine died, I would hands down buy the old model again, but I can not vouch for the new one.
