My fiancé and I rehabbed this BIFL Kroehler Sofa from the mid 60s!!
Not all mcm sofas. Some are meh. Kroehler build quality is far greater. They almost never need repair when we get them.

It’s not cheaper than buying new but it’s probably cheaper then buying new of equivalent quality. $3k plus minus. May or may not include the fabric. But you get to select the look, it will very likely be more durable fabric and you are supporting US workers rather then overseas manufacturers.
