Ever Bought Something That Quietly Changed You?
This! The places I’ve been, the things I’ve seen, the people I’ve meet, would not have happened. Very literally, driving a LC has been life altering. Not to mention if you take good care of an LC (older ones any way), they keep on keeping on. You buy one vehicle, and drive it for 500,000 miles. Or more. I think as close to BIFL as you can get for automobiles.

Ever Bought Something That Quietly Changed You?
In a Subaru guy… but a 1989 LandCruiser is both my kink and safe word.

What's the most expensive item you've bought with the intention of keeping it for life?
2013 Land Cruiser first. Then I got bold and bought a 98 LX470. Both will be given to grandkids I’m pretty sure. Just technological dinosaurs armored up like tanks. Everything is overbuilt and engineered to last many decades. There are many well over 500k miles and running happily. The expectation is at least 1M miles for mine as long as rust is prevented. My LX has 254k. The LC has 94k.
