Life Factory 16oz glass bottle with a turquoise case and lid. Owned for at least 15 years. Broke the glass bottle once so far, easy enough to buy the cheap replacement bottle on their website and put the case on that. Love the taste of water in glass, and shape of the bottle.

I love my water bottles from LifeFactory. They're glass, so not indestructible, but I haven't had one break on me despite multiple drops. The lids come apart for easy dishwashing, and they sell replacement lids if you ever lose/break them.

lifefactory glass water bottles
jsut throwing in my two cents that I've had mine for like a decade and I removed the silicone sleeve years ago because it was a pain to clean, but the bottle is still alive and kicking and remains my absolute favorite. I am now planning to buy more as I'm tired of my plastic bottles making the water taste funny to me

Water bottle that looks like...a water bottle.
Like others have mentioned, plastic can leak into the water especially after it's been exposed to washing-machine detergent. Plastic bottles in general become nasty over time, and thermoses are also hard to clean. I would recommend the [Lifefactory's glass water bottles](https://www.lifefactory.com/catalog/adults). They feel clean, look clean and the water tastes clean. They have a wide neck which makes it very easy to clean them, and they can be put in the dishwasher. The caveat, obviously, is they're made of glass. But they are sturdy and are protected by a silicone sleeve.
