I would add the following: Eyeglasses : Lindberg Air Titanium Men’s wallets : not a brand, rather a material - cordovan seriously outperforms leather after 5+ years Wristwatch : (despite the incoming groans), Rolex mechanicals are simple and robust and can be serviced/repaired globally.

Is there any glasses frame that are very durable and stylish. With scratch resistant heavy duty lens?
IC Berlin with thick tripled hinges are better reviewed, I think silhouette rimless is also very durable, Lindberg Air Rim, Strip and Thintanium lines seem also very well reviewed, tried and tested

Is Lindberg still the consensus recommendation for eye-glasses?
I'm on year 10 of a pair of lindberg hermods and have no plan to change to something new - at first they used to crack the lenses but after I learned that trivex works better with the ridges, never had a problem - just need to replace the nosepads and arm plastic every year or two

Is Lindberg still the consensus recommendation for eye-glasses?
Disagree strongly. I had one pair of Lindbergs for a decade and am now my on my second. I have slept on them, sat on them, dropped them, etc., and they are indestructible. u/WillofWinter, they are absolutely worth it from a durability standpoint. I love my Matsuda but would not expect them to escape unscathed after being sat on for hours.
