Looking for a couch that is actually worth the money- why does it feel impossible?
Same here. Everyone else seems to love them but I had the same bad experience as you. Loved it for about the first year but then the cushions start breaking down and the comfort isn't there anymore. Replaced ours with a sectional from Living Spaces. Going on 3 years with it and still better than LoveSac.

Looking for a couch that is actually worth the money- why does it feel impossible?
I had a West elm couch for 2 years. Mrsp $1k2 but when we moved i could only sell it for $100 and felt lucky someone took it so i've learnt that i should not buy the next couch if i only think about market price when i resell. Market changes, just buy what you like. Anyways after sitting on 50+ sofas , we landed on Living Spaces - Xena: within our budget of 5k, low seatings cos we're short, configuration allows us to comfortably lay down together for movie night snuggles. We flew to LA to their showroom to sit try it before buying and im glad we did this.

Please help me find my dream couch! (Photos are style examples)
I just pulled trig on a Living Spaces Zone that gets delivered later this month. It was $1700 with full delivery. I can update you later if I like it. I’ve heard from multiple peoples’ friends they love theirs so I just sent it sight unseen and untried in person.

Looking for a long last but super comfy sofa sofa. Anybody tried Anabei
I ended up getting the zone modular from living spaces and I LOVE IT. Everyone who comes over loves it, you just melt in it. I have 4 pieces and it’s in the shape of a square cube. It’s more like a couch bed 😭

Anyone own a Joybird sofa?
Surprising how shoddy expensive furniture can be. The websites make it look upscale, and reviews show that the quality is low. I would stick with Living Spaces and Scandinavian Designs. They offer 5 year warranties and stand behind them

Buying a quality couch that can last more than 2 years?
I got a couch from Living Spaces (specifically the Adeline II with one of their machine washable fabrics) that has been going on 6 years now of high traffic (2 dogs, 2 cats, my 150lb self, my 240lb ex husband, friends sleeping on it, friends kids jumping all over it, 2 cross country moves, storage unit for 8 months, etc). Still very comfortable. I accidentally fall asleep on it all the time lol. They’re not super budget but they’re not absolutely absurd either. Price depends on size and exact model but there are a bunch around that price. They’re a bit like Ikea in that you kinda have to be careful which exact model you get but I anticipate being able to get another 4+ years out of it. If you have a showroom near you it may be worth a look.
