  All the slings from Bellroy are great quality. Some of the heavy canvas Lucy and Yak ones seems well done too.

  Plus Size Clothing That Lasts

  I'm same size as you and in the UK. Here are a few places I like & get clothes from: 1) Lucy & Yak - if you've got a big belly, you might struggle with their 32 in jeans but there other trousers and tops are great. I'm fairly certain their bigger sizes have never seen a fit model but they're easy to return if they don't fit. There's very little consistency - I like the chuck trousers in a 4XL, the Jodie in a 3XL. I don't like their jeans as they don't have enough fabric around the hips for my weight distribution and I don't like the Billy trousers as the waist is too short and I'm between sizes. 2) The clothes from snag are really good - I like the trousers for work and they are adaptable. 3) Lora Gene - these are made to order, so you send them your measurements and a few weeks later clothes that fit you arrive. These are investment pieces made from wool / linen / cotton / silk. 4) Emporers Old Clothes - similar to Lora Gene but using deadstock fabric. I'm currently stalking them as Iike the style of their wide leg trousers and would like a linen pair for the summer. 5) Aesthetic Laundry - made to order in London, mostly leisure wear. 6) Manners LDN - my favourite wide leg tracksuit bottoms come from here.
