Looking for a couch that is actually worth the money- why does it feel impossible?
Try macys. I bought mine from there and it’s comfy and is holding up well. You can choose any fabric for free. Just wait for there to be a sale and you’ll be happy. I have the Radley sofa. So far so good. It’s been over a year.

The Best Pillow for Side Sleepers Currently? Recommendation
I tried buckwheat pillows, foam pillows, coop pillows. I thought I liked the buckwheat but a) they will leak very slightly and stain your sheets, and b) I would occasionally get headaches from the former surface. I went to Macys and got their “luxury” natural down pillows in two different levels of firmness and they are perfect.

I'm in the US. Often a department store like Macy's or Kohls will have quality bath linens in stock. You may not be able to buy 10 of the same color, which means online ordering the rest or choosing two or more colors for your bath towels.

What are some brands for good quality Trousers for men that lasts for life?
Read rule 1. This sub is not literal. There are wool trousers from Macy's which will likely last 2 years of normal wear and there are wool trousers from Mr. Porter which will likely last for many years. Give actual BIFL advice, not your interpretation of it.

Are you sure? I wore the Greenland with the lining and it was inadequate in Shanghai's 0 deg days. A proper wool jacket does the job much better. Doesn't even have to be fancy, my old one from Macy's was better.

Us it "Worth It" to Purchase a "Nice" Bath Towel?
I like hotel collection towels from Macy's. There are a bunch of different types. A nice towel is one that is highly absorbent, dries quickly, and wears well. It's worth it to me, because I like the feel of it on my skin, I like the fact that it dries quickly so it doesn't smell bad, and I like the absorbency. Whether it's worth it to you is a question for you to answer for yourself.

llbean percale if you dont want to go crazy, frette if you do want to go crazy. i have both and the frette are better....but are they 5X better? no. (law of diminishing returns) macys hotel collection made in italy line is also decent if you can get them on sale. if youre on a more strict budget macys charter club (100% cotton) i found to be decent; dont own them but i was impressed looking at them in store.

It’s been a couple of years since I bought sheets but, I always found the best deals on quality sheets at Macys. Watch for their sales and they often (used to?) allow stacking of coupons. Ive picked up king sized hotel quality heavy down comforters for 70 or 80% off with the sales plus coupons. Same deals for their sheets - find the sheets you like and then watch for their sales and get their coupons for stacking.

Long lasting durable, comfortable & high quality sectional sofa?
We have a leather sectional from Macy's and it has been about 4 years strong with dog and us. It really takes just a leather wipe to make it look new again. We went in person and, while that wasn't all their furniture, it was much easier to find a good piece. I think it was around 3k and it is full leather on all sides.

Buying a quality couch that can last more than 2 years?
I have a couch from Macys that’s been great! Had it for 11+ years, the couch is a pullout with an actually comfortable memory foam mattress. Survived several moves. Cushion covers are washable and it doesn’t really show any signs of wear yet. Bought the optional footstool which is the best part.

Buying a quality couch that can last more than 2 years?
When I furnished my first apartment in 1989 I bought a used couch and love seat from a co-worker at my summer job. It was funky 70s style but it was comfy af. It is 100x easier now to find good used furniture. I just moved into my 12th residence (not counting childhood home, dorm, or furnished sublet). We bought a used leather couch, two chairs, and an ottoman for $850 on Facebook Marketplace. It is incredibly comfy furniture and also sturdy and well made. It replaced a 17 year old sectional from Macy's where the foam on the two most used cushions had been replaced. That sectional went to a neighbor via Buy Nothing, she was planning to do a deep clean and enjoy it for a few more years. So there's lots of ways to find comfortable stuff and not spend a fortune.
