  Marine Layer - Anyone have experience with the quality?

  I got into Marine Layer after buying a sweater from a discount store a few years ago that has held up remarkably well. They have a fantastic 365 day return policy for 99% of their items. Even if you wear the item all year and decide the quality isn't to your liking, you can return it for a full refund as long as you have the order #, no questions asked. Also, if you buy an item that later goes on sale up to 14 days later, they will refund you the difference if you chat with them (did this a month ago!) They are expensive, but the knitted quality of their sweaters (what I buy the most of from them) is remarkably high. Non-itchy, good weight, solid seems, washes well. I stock up on sweaters and base layers after Christmas where I can typically get items 50% off or more. I have also found their items after-season at Nordstrom Rack for very reasonable prices.

  Three shirts and a sweater from them and I plan on trying to swap out more of my clothing for theirs. Their sizing fits me perfectly and I don't mind investing in what I wear.

  I have a bunch of pieces and a jacket. The chinos and t shirts are very soft and comfortable. Most of their silhouettes / design is San Francisco cool. They're expensive but I think worth it if you're curating a wardrobe of few but good pieces.

  My old job used them for our yearly company shirts for a few years and I thought they were really comfortable t-shirts and have held up really well.

  Their tops fit me really well and always seem of good quality. I have a few jackets, a number of shirts, and a handful of overshirts. They are pricey at list but they regularly have 20-25% sales, and that on top of already marked down stuff makes it fairly reasonable.

  Three of the Pacifica shirts are over three years old and are still the most comfortable shirts I own. Their bathing suits Saturday pants are great too

  My husband has gotten a few sweaters from them in the past few years. They don’t get work often, but they are all nice. Fabric quality seems good. Stitching is good. Everything is holding up so far. We get their catalogs now and I’m saving up for a pea coat they have.

  I have a lot of their stuff and am a big fan. No quality issues. I think I have 5 of the Pacifica stretch twill over shirts and they’re pretty much all I wear in the colder months. Their bathing suits are great as well. But yes expensive.

  I don't have any personal experience but my wife has an incredible red velour dress that's held up well. From what I hear the quality is pretty good.
