Towels that don’t suck
2nd the ones from Martha Stewart from Macy’s and also the Costco ones but they are fluffy. They do dry you well, though.

Looking for a Dutch oven
Martha Stewart's line from Macy's isn't a bad choice either

I'm looking for the most overbuilt/best kitchen accessories and tools out there.
A good set of kitchen knives is always a must, such as the [Martha Stewart knife set](https://x.com/BestToBuyDeals/status/1940668924485685708). In addition, various utensils and pots for preparing meals and salads are also needed.

What’s something you’ve had so long it feels like it’s legally part of your family
When I was 17, and about to graduate high school, my mom took me to Macy's, and helped me pick out a stainless steel Martha Stewart cookware set. I am nearing 30, and those pans & pots will. not. die. They've made drunk pancakes in uni, caught leaks in my partner and I's first house, bailed out bathtubs, they've seen it all. I've only lost one lid. We picked out a new, stylish Cuisinart set last year, that we used for a WEEK before rust set in. Promptly returned them, and pulled the Martha Stewarts out of the donation box. They may be scratched, but they're solid.

What’s a kitchen item you bought once and never had to replace?
It's always the most random stuff for me! A no-name 4 cup rice cooker that my mom bought in Hawaii in 1997, as well as a Martha Stewart enameled Dutch oven that I got as a house warming gift in 2004. Also, this frying pan/sauce pan hybrid that we got off our wedding registry in 2007.

What brand / type of pots & pans are worth investing in as a young adult?
I use my Lodge Iron skillet almost daily, and I also have my grandparents’ iron skillets. They do require their own way of cleaning and seasoning but they will never let you down. It doesn’t have to be an expensive brand. I have a Martha Stewart iron Dutch oven that wasn’t that expensive but I know it will last.
