What is a BIFL item/product you recommend?
Almost all my manual coffee gear is BIFL. I have yet to buy my BIFL espresso rig though (Mara X + Mazzer Philos). Next year. A stainless Aeropress would be an awesome compliment to my stainless V60. I do love my glass stuff (Chemex, Beehive carafe, Silex vacpot), but it is a little less indestructible.

My BIFL trio. Worth every penny
Not bad for the price, but very much the low end of suitable. BIFL in a home setting would be the commercial grinders: Mazzer, Mahlkonig, Compak or the underrated Macap.

What home coffee essentials have held up and lasted you over time?
Have had a Rocket Giotto Evoluzione V1 and Mazzer Robur for 12 years. Grinder has been solid. On the espresso machine I've replaced the pressure stat and have overhauled e61 parts once.
