BIFL Table Knives? Something that isn’t huge (looking at you Benchmade table knives) and holds an edge (good steel).
I'd you want decent steel, at a cheaper price, I'd say Victorinox, if you want high end steel (M390) I'd go with Microtech or Bradford knives, both make high end fixed blades or Autos but have a couple kitchen knives now too.

Microtech Ultratech. A true BIFL knife.
I’ve been carrying on every day for about 5 years. I’m a carpenter and am not gentle with it. Periodically it gets impacted with sawdust or debris so every couple months i blast some REM oil in it and follow that with canned air. It still fires like the first day i got it. Great knives and they have a lifetime warranty.
