I’ve had a 32oz Miir wide mouth for 3-4 years. I was there for the original Swiss Gear water bottle craze and have been through quite a few in the 15ish years since. I added the straw top after a year with the wide mouth and it’s become my emotional support water bottle in a way no others have.

Check out Koru Distribution. They’re a wholesale distributor for Miir in Canada. I used to share a warehouse with them. If you email them they might be able to tell you where to buy a bottle or may even sell you one outright.

Seconding miir for their coffee tumbler, specifically. Keeps coffee warm all day and i love the 360° drinking lid. My only gripe is that you can’t order directly from them if you’re Canadian (as of last winter.. they may have changed it now). I only discovered that because my lid unexpectedly broke when it fell off the counter and i went to order a new one but couldn’t. I contacted support and it turns out they also have a great warranty program and they sent me a new lid for free.

Zojirushi Coffee/Tea Tumblers Miir Insulated Camping Mugs Tom’s Majorca Cutout Heels + Jutti Flats Nike Flex Sneakers Tesla/Rivian Kongs (for my dog) Bare Minerals Foundation Open Farms Rawmix Dog Food Pronamel Toothpaste Flamingo at-home Waxing Strips Clorox Wipes This isn’t exactly buy it for life. Some items I have I wouldn’t stockpile because I only need one. My favorite toothbrush for instance. I find that things that touch my body or my food tend to be products I select carefully and then am fanatically loyal to, so I would be most stressed if my cosmetics, underclothes etc were discontinued. But these are high quality, long duration consumable items that would make me panic if I could no longer find them when I went to get a new one. Hope some of these help!

To my eye, the underside of the lid looked like it has two parts: the central, large, inset piece (which I thought was polypropylene), and the outer, narrow rim/gasket (which I thought was silicone). BOTH of these are the same color. Are you saying that these are actually the same piece, and even the large central portion is made of silicone? In other words, if you press on the big, central piece of the underside of the lid (NOT the rim/gasket), it is also squishy like silicone, and not hard like polypropylene?

If you're cool with really big sizes, search for insulated growlers. I have an insulted miir growler with a swing top, as well as a long retired klean kanteen swing top growler.

I really like (insulated) water bottles with a sip/straw type opening, but the straw always seems to crack within 1-2 years. Any BiFL type options?
I have a wide mouth Miir bottle and I stick a silicone straw in it and drink from that. Sometimes you can get what you need with a very low-tech solution. It’s far easier to clean and less parts to worry about. If my straw gets too funky i can replace it.

I have a lifetime supply of water bottles because I keep getting them for free from company events and friends and family. So it’s a rotating supply and I pick what to use based on the situation (bottle for the car, bottle for hiking, bottle for travel, etc) Of the ones I’ve had I really like anything by MiiR. They have a sleek design and are durable.

Best Brand for Food Thermos with Long Heat Retention?

They are a B corp so a great brand. I have been knocking this thermos food canister around to work, camping, travel and it's indestructible. I sometimes use it for cold food as well. It does not retain any flavor or odors.
