Need good silverware
Look for Oneida (older models) or Mikasa. They used to be the gold standard for heavy-gauge sets

Not Corelle Please! Chip-free dinnerware
Bone China if you want thinner dishes. Costco has large mikasa sets every winter. fiestaware is suggested every time. Surprised no one has mentioned those yet.

Modern chic plate set that is durable and won’t chip
My "good china" is a basic platinum-ringed set I got from the Mikasa outlet years ago. I use it and enjoy it and it's held up fabulously. I also put it in the dishwasher, caution to the wind.

Cutlery which is lose-proof
Now that is is holiday time, stop by Homegoods, TJ Max and Marshall’s. They have 20 piece sets for 4 people at different price ranges. I saw several Mikasa sets in 4 different patterns for $39.99. They were good quality 18/10 stainless steel.

Looking for flatware set that won’t rust - reccs please only if you purchased in the last year
Just checked my Amazon purchased list. I bought [these](https://a.co/d/27BFckq) last April exactly. They have not rusted as I use a counter top dishwasher. I really like them as I am picky with the weight and cut of my flatwear if that makes sense.

Mikasa 18/0 Flatware. Not 18/10 but that's okay?
I bought two sets. Looks and feels great.

Does anyone know of a durable dinnerware collection that covers all dining and kitchen accessories?
Italian countryside is a dream to clean too. My heart broke when one of my two serving bowls broke. I dropped it. Ebay is $32!!!

Modern chic plate set that is durable and won’t chip
I have also been happy with the Mikasa bone china from Costco. Going on three years of use and no staining or chipping. I have broken one bowl by dropping it on tile from about three feet up, so it’s not indestructible but still very sturdy. Doesn’t get hot in the microwave, all around a great value IMO

Modern chic plate set that is durable and won’t chip
I second this suggestion and commented elsewhere in this thread - here is a link to the current offering. I also suggest not getting a set with cups/mugs. Stick to plates and bowls. The coffee cups just don’t get used enough. The bowls did break after a few years of heavy use/little kids but the plates are still going strong after 15 years. https://www.costco.com/Mikasa%20Trellis%20Gold%2012-piece%20Bone%20China%20Dinnerware%20Set.product.1884177.html?sh=true&nf=true

Modern chic plate set that is durable and won’t chip
I've been very happy with the porcelain sets that are sold at Costco. The brand is Mikasa. They don't chip but will crack or break if you drop them.

Is there an Silverware equivalent to Corelle
My vote is for Mikasa. I even have an old porcelain place setting for 4 from them.

Is there an Silverware equivalent to Corelle
The trick to flatware is getting high quality. 18/10 only goes so far. You can get 18/10 that bends if you look at it funny. Fine flatware quality is where you want to look. I’ve had Gorham Studio flatware for the past 8 years and they still look new, no bending. My brother has Oneida Moda for the past decade, had a box of it fall off the roof of their car after a picnic, got run over after falling on concrete, and only one of the knives has a VERY slight bend to it. It’s not cheap, but I don’t expect to have to buy a new set for the rest of my life. Look at Lenox, Mikasa, Ginko, Reed and Barton, etc. If they come as a five piece place setting, that’s a good clue they are higher end.
