I'm looking for a spray bottle to use with oil for cooking that gets a good spray/misting of oil. Any recommends?
I've had a Misto in service for over 10 years without any issues. If you clean them at each refill to remove the oil on the outside of the spray head/plunger area these will last a very long time. I am willing to bet all the people commenting about gumming up never clean thiers and the weak stream instead of spray issue is due to overfilling it (instructions say not to fill up beyond the halfway point of the bottle).

When I got a Misto, it was a revelation. It has a system where you pump the lid, and that builds the pressure in the aluminium cylinder, before you spray. It actually sprays like an aerosol, but you can refill it with any oil that you want. The trick is that you need to leave it half empty, so you have the space to build up enough air pressure to mist the oil. Many people who have had problems are filling it too much, so get a poor mist, more like a jet.
