Why do charging cables die so easily?
I think you need to buy better cables. [https://www.monoprice.com/product?p\_id=47632](https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=47632) \^ note this one is a little chunky at the insert so it may interfere with some devices. Ok for phones, doesn't fit my bike light.

Why do charging cables die so easily?
Monoprice offers a lifetime warranty on their cables. Having said that, I've never had to file a claim and I own many of them. Maybe try some of theirs?

Why do charging cables die so easily?
Monoprice is a hack, never had one of their cables die and I have had 10 of them

Is there anything you're convinced is "the cheaper the better"?
Monoproce is the GOAT for cables. Have all the proper specced quality cables for reasonable prices.

HDMI Cables. Gold plated ones at Best Buy provide zero benefit over simple ones from Monoprice.

Im sooo tired of buying USB C cords that lasts a few months at best, recommendations
Anker is the way to go. For a cheaper option but still decent quality, look at monoprice.com

Im sooo tired of buying USB C cords that lasts a few months at best, recommendations
I bought 2 usb to usb c cables from monoprice in 2011 or 12 when the protocol just started getting adapted and they still work great today and one is crushed hanging out of my car center console, might be my most bifl electronic purchase

USA: Monoprice Canada: Prime Cables Universal Option: Anker/Ugreen Not all Anker cables have lifetime warranty so check before purchasing, but they do hold up well.

[Request] Looking for a good Sous Vide recommendation
Stick with a “dumb” machine. Monoprice strata is as dumb as it gets. And dirt cheap. Mine is 9 years old and chugging along just fine. I descale it every year or so. I’m sure that helps.

Best standing desk that won’t turn into a cable mess?
when i got my first job (WFH), i got a standing desk. and i was able to have decent luck by drilling in an under-desk tray (it was super easy!). i got 2 of these because of how big and sturdy they are: "Monoprice Under Desk Cable Tray - Steel with Power Supply and Wire Management - Workstream Collection White" 5 years later, they still haven't failed me!

I need noise cancelling head phones that are big enough that they competely cover the average adult woman's ears
https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=33834&srsltid=AfmBOorCc7dCzwlpDdEWvzH2geefsv-KQN5loeqzk13rYx_o9y4NueIV not a fancy name brand or anything, but i love these. I've had 2 headphones from them (lost one) and i absolutely love them. they come with a wire, so you can be wireless or you can plug in, which i love. you can also listen while charging, wired or unwired. they fit completely over my ears and they're comfortable to wear, toss in my bag, etc. i work in an office that regularly has multiple people calling, music playing, talking, and these block sound out pretty well for me. plus the charging port is a usb c so i just charge it using my car charger while im driving anywhere, they charge quickly.

should we spend $800 on a wood standing desk surface?
I bought a slab from Home Depot with a live edge and a hand crank standing desk from monoprice. Looks nicer than any desk around the 1k price range, cost me about $450, and I have no worries about the electronics dying. No desk with electronic mechanisms are going to be a true bifl, eventually your desk will get stuck either at standing or sitting height.

Apple/lightning phone chargers?
Yeah I've heard that something like this would help. Usually I go with braided but I've found some utility for PVCs depending on the situation. I usually stick with Anker or Monoprice cables but have recently begun trying Amazon basics, Spigen and Belkin cables to test out their durability. The amazon basics cables are so cheap and have decent durability overall while I am very impressed with the Spigen and Belkin cables.

Best over the ear headphones for less than $150?
Totally agree. I felt that [these](https://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=108&cp_id=10823&cs_id=1082302&p_id=11949) for a couple extra bucks improved the comfort significantly as well.

Best over the ear headphones for less than $150?
My Monoprice headphones are better than my $150 audiotechnica headphones. Also they come with a removeable cord so if you accidently jerk the headset then the plug doesn't break. That is what happened to my audiotechnica headphones. I tried to fix the plug and didn't manage it, despite a few internet tutorials. I'm never buying a headset without a removeable cord again.

Best over the ear headphones for less than $150?
A good rugged beater pair even if you go with something else: The Monoprice 8323, currently $16 on sale. Check the boards, the subreddits, the reviews. People can't seem to get enough of these.
