Best winter jackets?
As a cold-weather public transit commuter that lives in a very large Midwestern city and has to stand on subway platforms in frigid weather every winter, I feel I’m semi-qualified. LL Bean Parka is best bang for buck, and has strong Maine ties. Canada Goose certainly has its pro’s, but I’ve heard quality isn’t what is was pre-Covid (gotta create that share-holder value after all). I’ve heard incredible things about Moose Knuckle.

what winter coat are yall using?
Artic Tech can wear fairly easily. It even hates rubbing up against itself which you are going to get with these type of coats so it's inevitable. The color itself isn't the only thing rubbing off. Although there are some benefits to it, such as it remains extremely flexible in extreme cold weather the inside seems tend to wear the fastest. Companies like Moose Knuckles can be had for a fraction of the price and they make a very similar product. Not long ago Canada Goose although always more expensive became much more so increasing their prices about the time of Covid to where they became ridiculous compared to like brands such as Moose Knuckles. So for starting at much less, a very comparable product and often being able to find even as much as 50% off you can find practically the same product for a third of the price what it cost to get a Canada Goose warranty and all and this tends to be true when it comes to other brands that make a very same product like Nobis, and Parajumpers warranty and all. I think Outdoor Survival Canada is probably known for having the more durable coat in this category but those would be much more difficult to find on sale but still cost less than a Canada Goose. The name thing is real, the differences besides Artic Tech not so much. Yes there are some differences but all of these brans are very similar. I have a few Canada Goose coats and after what they did after Covid with their prices it becomes very difficult especially after seeing the wear on the inside seems of my one coat to make them my first recommendation. Not saying Moose Knuckles and their branding is for everyone but if you can get over that I have a Stirling Parka which is very comparable to my Canada Goose Expedition and I got it for a third of the price and Canada Goose can be much more difficult to find on sale. I've done it but I wasn't able to do it at the same starting price point and for 50% off.
