Waterproof woman's shoe/book that I can hike in or spend the whole day walking in
My work boots aren’t horrible and I’ve had them for nine years and only recently bought some shoe caulk to reseal some separating points. Muck Boots. Chore St or Arctic Sport. They are waterproof, and thick soled. BUT they do look like work boots. And they run small. I’m normally women’s size 8 1/2 but wear 9 1/2nin Mucks. Might be because I have wide feet. I bought mine at my local rancher supply store. But I realize not everyone has access to those stores if you live in a big city with no agriculture.

Rain boots?
I second this. I have the muck boots chore mid and love them. 100% waterproof, even the flexible upper part. I use them for farming/gardening job and as a rain boot across campus and such. Edit- in regards to their clumsiness, yes it happens but you get used to it and the tradeoff is well worth it

Rain boots?
> Muck Boots chore mid. I love my Muck chore boots! I live on a ranch so I'm often slogging through mud and animal excrement. They can handle ANYTHING! I brought them to a music festival a few years ago which turned into in a rain-soaked muddy mess. My feet stayed completely dry while thousands around me who weren't prepared had their sandals and shoes literally sucked off their feet by the deep mud. Not sure I can praise them enough, but the only thing you might consider is that, due to their "bulletproof" design, they are somewhat heavy and clumsy. Make you sure try on a pair to make sure you like the feel.
