Good Immersion blenders?
I was in the same spot and ended up getting the Mueller immersion blender, and it has been solid for me. It is easy to use and way easier to clean than a regular blender. I use it for soups, sauces, and other stuff without worrying about chunks. It feels powerful enough and has smooth speed control so it does not feel like it is struggling. The attachments are useful too, like the chopper and whisk, and clean up is simple. It has held up well for me so far and has replaced a few other tools in my kitchen. If you want something that is easier to clean and feels sturdy, that one has been a good pick for me.

Good Immersion blenders?
I switched to an immersion blender for the same reason and have not looked back. Way less mess and cleanup compared to a full size blender. I have been using the Mueller immersion blender and it has held up well. It feels sturdy, not cheap, and has enough power for soups and sauces without leaving bits behind. I like that I can blend directly in the pot and just rinse the wand after. The extra attachments are a bonus but even just the main blender gets used all the time. If you want something simple that does not feel like it will die in a few months, an immersion blender like that has been a good option for me.

I was in the exact same situation with Magic Bullet units dying every year. I finally stopped buying them and switched to the Mueller immersion blender, and it has been a much better experience. I make smoothies almost every day and it blends frozen fruit and thicker mixes without feeling weak. I like that I can blend directly in a cup or jar and not deal with extra lids or blades. Cleanup is basically a quick rinse and I am done. It also feels more solid and well built compared to the small personal blenders I used before. Mine has lasted way longer than any bullet blender I owned.

If durability is your main concern, I would seriously look at the Mueller immersion blender instead of another single serving blender. I use it daily for smoothies and protein shakes and it has not given me any issues. It has good power, smooth speed control, and does not overheat or struggle like my old personal blenders did. I also like that it takes up very little space and replaces multiple tools. Cleaning is easy and there are fewer parts that can break. For something used every day, it has been a solid upgrade for me.

I never want to buy cookware again
I bought this Mueller set 2 years ago for around the same price as now and they seem to be holding up. They are very light for stainless and the rivets connecting the handles appear to be the same material. I've seen aluminum and zinc rivets corrode away on otherwise high end pans. Using a chainmail silicone sponge and barkeepers friend I've been able to recover them from whatever my wife does to them. I use a lodge cast iron for anything non acidic. Good toaster for 30/35$
If you’re on a $35 budget, skip the fancy ones 😅 The Mueller UltraToast is surprisingly solid — feels like a $70 toaster. I use it daily for sourdough slices and it never burns them.

Henckels Kitchen Knives. I finally replaced my chef's knife and was very surprised in the difference.
I still have my Henkel too, but I also have a Mueller Cleaver Knife. I bought it from Amazon a year ago on prime and it is seriously like brand new still. the blade is super sharp so I just keep it in its box. I love a good buy it for life purchase!

Short of a Vitamix that costs way too much for a regular stick blender, I’d say try to look for something on Amazon. Read through reviews, do a little research. Just look for something made of steel. Plastic is what tends to break easily, especially if you’re using it for soups cos the heat causes tiny cracks in the shell. [This Mueller one](https://onlinehairguide.com/dp-B07J1P77W50) is a good starting point, you can get only the blender and it’ll work well. Its steel and the blades are pretty sharp so it’ll do a much more precise job than the blender. The steel also means it won’t retain any smells or stains for the next time you use it (always had that problem with regular blenders). If you’re willing to splurge a tiny bit, you could even get the extra whisk and crusher attachments so it becomes more of an all in one machine and leave the blender for just a smoothie here and there. I think they also have a chopper attachment for dicing veggies in. all of these are gonna help streamline the cooking process so much, trust me.

You can just stick it straight into the pot, blend, and rinse it off. Way less hassle.
