Zojirushi v.s. Tiger Made in Japan rice cookers
I’ve come from a household that has bought from both camps (all units made in Japan) and both are equally as good. And don’t limit yourself to just Zojirushi or Tiger. National (Panasonic) are pretty solid options too!

My 26+ year old rice cooker
55yo Chinese-American here, my mom’s old National brand giant rice cookers (1 button!) still work, I think my sister uses them around the holidays for big gatherings…. So they must be even older than I am, as I am the youngest sibling in my family by far!!😜
