None of them should *require* an internet connection. Let alone an app. I have an old model with a remote that you use to program it. Sure, it doesn’t have all the options an app would have. But this should be the baseline. The app should extend functionality. Not operate everything.

What are the Best Robot Vacuum Right Now?
I've had a Neato D5 for 6 years with no major issues. Replaced the roller and spinner that's it. HEPA and still everything it docks I'm impressed how full the bin is.

The Best Robot Vacuum that Lasts?
I've had 2 neatos that have lasted a long time. both D5 models, basic but get the job done. Surprisingly even the batteries have held up. I would stay away from roombas, owned 2 in the past and they always had problems, also they have the worst tech and the highest price out of all the competition.

late to the party but i bought a Neato Botvac D3 back in 2017 and i still use it to this day. i've replaced the battery once and the filter a couple of times but that's about it

Dyson makes good vacuums. If buying corded, consider a Miele. I'd also recommend some of the newer automated vacuums. Neato is good.
