Nice looking men's boots that will work in an office, but stand up to Chicago winters
Here's another angle to consider: **overshoes**. I have a pair of [NEOS overshoes](https://www.neosovershoescanada.com/) which I got off of eBay. You can wear whatever shoes or boots, slide these bad boys on (super easy), and just take them off at the office. This way, you have zero chance of any snow getting stuck in your boots and tracking it around the office. I've had mine for a few years now and love them. They look odd, but they're affordable and work.

Looking for a full outdoor winter clothes system.
For the feet, I can't recommend Neos overshoes enough. They are bulky but you can put any shoes you want and put them over. They keep warm, water resistant, go to the knees. If you are too hot, you remove them and use your normal shoes/boots. I used them to work doing forest inventory, so deep snow, cold and full of branches. They protected my legs and kept me warm in very cold days.
