My ninja cookware has been chugging along for 4+ years now issue. I imagine itll go a good 15 at least unless Im just absolutely careless. Not sure the exact science behind the coating, but doesn't seem to be harmful and works well.

Please help me decide which one gets to stay and which ones should be returned.
None of these are but it for life material. They all have too much plastic and proprietary stuff to be. TLDR: Go with the one in the middle. It’s simple which less parts to fail. But if you want my opinion for which should stay out of the three, I will share some rationale. When buying for life always look for things that are simple. If it moves, make sure it’s durable and not plastic. (You could argue certain plastic’s durability but not in this case) Look for single task machines or in this case something that does the thing you want it to do and does it well without over complicating it. I have been pretty impressed by ninja’s products overall. The one at my current office is the ninja dual brew pro. The plastic seems better than anything I’ve seen used on a Keurig. I have used both Ninjas and Keurigs at work and Ninja is the way to go. However- I would suggest going with the one in the middle. It doesn’t over complicate making coffee. You can find so many other tools to improve your coffee experience but if you want something that will last for a while pick the thing that does the one task well. If you’re careful and take care of it you can get lots of use out of it. Best of luck! 🍀

I have owned 4 air fryers over my life. The first two were extremely basic and had a noticeable defects where over time 1. the fryer drawers wouldn’t seal properly leading the machine to lose cooking efficiency, 2. A basket that detaches with a button on the handle eventually breaks and causes spontaneous ejection detachment of a hot greasy drawer to the floor. I initially complained about the lack of basket in the current model I own, but the fryer holds up extremely well to daily use, easily set cooking temps and time, and easily still going strong on its 2nd or 3rd year with almost daily use. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything other than a Ninja brand, tbh. It probably won’t last forever, but you get a better product for $150 that lasts 3 times longer than a $50 cheap air fryer

I can't speak to longevity, as we replaced the one we had for about 5 years with the Ninja Foodi Grill about 6 months ago. However, 6 months in and It's still one of those purchases that I just stop and think what a good choice. We don't have the one with the temperature probe as that was almost double the price, but the regular one has been great. We use ours a lot. I like to make tuna melts or toast my bagels in it a few times a week. I bake potatoes and twice baked potatoes in it. It is fantastic at reheating leftovers like pizza that turn out subpar in the microwave. It is not only super fast but I swear pizza tastes even better then when it was first delivered with the bit of crisp it adds. My wife is the one who uses the grill plate the most, it works fantastic for fish and pork belly. The air fryer circulates the air much better than our old drawer style one so things get crispy real quick. I've also used the dehydrate setting on a bunch of mint I grew to make mint tea. In addition to it being quick and better at air frying than our old one, it's much more convenient. I really like the flip up lid instead of the drawer, it's just a lot easier to get things in and out of the air fryer. It auto-pauses when you lift the lid so it's really easy to just take a quick peak at what your cooking to check if it's done. Plus the basket drops in and pops out super easy for loading and unloading. Also the main basket, the perforated basket, the grill plate and the easy pop off mesh filter over the fan all are dishwasher safe. Tossing the filter in the dishwasher once a week should help prevent too much oil build up which should extend the air fryers life. Again, I'm not sure how long it will last and I don't have experience with other Ninja items, but as far as performance and functionality along with convenience, it has been a great choice.

What’s a purchase that’s not fun, not flashy but now you swear by it?
Rice cookers are set it and forget it. Also, they can be used like crock pots and slow cook stews, etc. My preference these days is using the Ninja 10-in-1 because it can cook rice in 3 minutes without needing to wait for boiling. The multitude of functions like air frying, roasting, dehydrating, and steaming are fantastic as well.

They did say it’s not a perfect system, but I have to agree it can usually be a good sign. I guess I’m also “cherry picking” because I can only go off my experiences, but from my experience, most of the examples come into my mind are backing the point. Well, maybe not that the brand only sells one thing, but that the one thing they are known for is going to be reliable: Fiskars for blades, makita for drills, ninja for blenders.

How much do you actually care about coffee? Like if you just care that coffee winds up in a cup, a moccamaster is _way overkill_ and the one cup shouldn't even exist imo as it's not really much more convenient than doing the pour over yourself and is very finicky/clogs/etc (at least at its price point). Most people overestimate how much they actually care about the nuances of their coffee. I don't have one, but I think the Ninja Dual Brews are nice because they do a decent job of doing all the things good enough at a not-insane price (pods + single cup pour over + carafe). If I were buying a machine for a whole household of different coffee drinkers I'd either do that or buy the cheapest drip coffee machine I could find with good reviews. As the sole coffee drinker in my house, I have an espresso setup as my daily driver. Figure out what your needs are from the machine and go from there.

I have a few non stick pans for weeknight dinners that are still going strong after 6 years of 2-3 uses a week. The Scoville Neverstick ones have held up the best out of them. I've also got a Ninja Perfect Pan oven safe frying pan that's really good when it works, but the coating wore off in the middle after 5 years. I got a used air fryer from a relative and I use it almost daily. It’s just standard Ninja one, nothing fancy, but I only cook for myself and it’s so convenient vs using the oven or frying pan. Clean up is minimal, no pre-heating, less smoke/grease/smell than frying. It’s fantastic. I thought about saving up for a robo vacuum but I got scared from reports of lithium ion battery explosions. I know they’re really rare but my apartment building had a major fire recently from this happening (e-bike battery exploded) and it was terrifying so I’m too scarred from that.

Got an industrial blender 7 years ago that's an absolute beast (in size and power), use it everyday in summer and autumn to make smoothies. Also have the Ninja food processor for 2 or 3 years that i use every day to chop and puree food and it's saved me so much time (especially with a small child around). Other than that, it's the obvious answers; my air fryer, my dutch oven.

Every Breville air fryer oven has entirely nonstick coated interiors, despite what some review sites say. This can be confirmed by checking the manuals under cleaning instructions. I was furious after unpacking the Breville Pro which multiple sites claim is non-toxic only to find the whole interior is nonstick coated. Ninja Foodi XL and Wonder ovens, both large and small are nonstick free.

Ninja Toaster Oven/Airfryer. Instapot. Bunn 10 cup coffee maker. Its water reservoir heats up the water. We buy whole beans and use a burr grinder. It takes very little time and cheap to make a pot of coffee.

I've a Ninja Air Fryer. This is the 7th year running strong. No complaints and looks almost as good as new. But, aside from the recommendation, an curious why the teflon on the air fryer is degrading. You may want to check the abrasiveness of the scrubber if hand washed or dish wash liquid.

Should I buy a basic slow cooker or those 11-in-1 type pressure cooker/slow cooker/air fryer etc.
We have a Ninja Foodi air fryer/pressure cooker combo. We use it 3-5 times a week. Steaming/pressure cooking and baking/frying are the most common uses for us. We've used it as a slow cooker too and works just fine for that. Overall we think it's a useful tool.

As someone who didn’t want to spend the price on a vitamix but kept killing other blenders (ninja). I will say that I LOVE my vitamix for certain things, and hate it for others. If you are making a sauce for something and want it to be completely homogenous and smooth, vitamix all the way. We are dairy free and often make sauces with root vegetables and nuts. And I don’t even have to soak the nuts before blending. Just throw them in and it does such a good job that it’s fully smooth, no grit whatsoever. However, I much preferred my ninja when it comes to making THICCK smoothie bowls. Vitamix can, but you have to fight with it a bit and use the tamper and it just makes awful noise 😂 the ninja I just turned it on and it did its thing. Also, I think the ninja did better with smaller amounts in the blender. But again, the vitamix is worlds better when it comes to smoothness, especially with harder ingredients. So if that’s a thing that matters to you 🤷♀️

Nonstick doesn’t DIE instantly it actually dies when folks spray pam on it! lecithin gums the coating and then byee. better trick: brush a teeny tiny bit of oil after preheat, and the plates stay slick way longer. tbvh the main decision is size + cleaning. while comparing i noticed the krups 4-slice and cuisinart waf-300 both have removable plates you can throw in the dishwasher, which solves half the cleanup rant in this sub. ninja bw1001 went vertical to stop overflow completely, moat plus measuring cup keeps the mess off the counter. (bakers know what i m talkin about!) My Ninja Foodi Flip. It's more than an air fryer; it's basically a little countertop oven. It's much faster and more efficient than heating up the big oven, for group meals or individual servings, because it takes less than a minute to reach the temperature you set. It can cook side dishes while the main dish is in the big oven, as well. We've had it for five years and it's still going strong and is used every day.

You are not going to lose weight drinking apple juice my friend, nor will a masticating juicer produce clear apple juice. A decent blender would be more versatile. Ninja, Vitamix etc. Then you can throw in whole fruit and vegetables and benefit from the fibre, make smooth vegetable soups etc. FYI pre-cutting fruit and vegetables helps to make them more accessible and increases the amounts you are likely to eat.

Thanks for the write up, I agree a toaster oven has a lot going for it that should keep it going for a long while. A lot of the modern ones have logic boards, which sometimes last decades, sometimes go funny after a year or two. Those you have to be a bit of a Louis Rossman to diagnose and repair. I didn't know about the nichrome life expectancy of only 5-10 years, are those the same elements that are in hair dryers and chep heaters? Sometimes those last decades and decades too, but I didnt know they used to be considered repairable. I know the ninja and I think the breville toaster oven use quartz elements and I'm not too sure how easy that is to repair, but maybe they last longer than the nichrome elements.

My brother has one of those Ninja air fryer/toaster oven combos but it was ~175$ when he bought it iirc and it's been going strong since 2020. It's about the price of a breville toaster oven but I mean they do last if you don't treat them like garbage. The breville has a resettable thermal fuse which is one of the most common failure points on cheaper machines, no idea about the ninja toaster oven. If a company is using a one-and-done thermal fuse then it should be avoided at all costs, using it slightly wrong/too long once will total the machine (and although it's an easy fix, 95% of people won't know how to fix it or won't want to tinker around with it). In 1977 a toaster oven like this was about 35-40 dollars which is a little over 200 today, GE never put the price on their adverts so it's hard to nail down. I seriously doubt the modern toaster ovens are going to last 50 years but they're not the disposable appliances like people make them out to be. Cheap toaster ovens crapped out all the time back then but appliance repair shops were common and thes were so simple that it was often an easy/cheap repair (one thing is modern ovens have a lot more features, especially at the ~200 dollar level, reliability is a tradeoff with all those features though). Today you have to have a bit of knowledge about how these work in order to fix them, or to know if it's fixable or not (like with a crapped out logic board), but often it's doable. However, when they do crap out now, the company wants you to go buy another, not try to fix your old one or have them warranty it.

I have that Ninja one too, and I abuse the ever loving hell out of it. Mind you, similarly to what someone else said about mixing frozen, non-frozen, and liquid for making smoothies, I'm fairly diligent about this as well. However I also use the food processor thing a LOT now to turn dry dog food into not-dry dog food, and I basically treat the blender as a science experiment to see how far I can go before I need to worry about possible electrical fires. 😂 Five years and going strong. I went down the rabbit hole with vitamix and blendtec and then ran into the Ninja at Costco. It was highly rated and super inexpensive so we said why not. It has outperformed our expectations in almost every way. Love the double decker blades and the single serving "bullet" jars. When it dies, I will consider a Blendtec, but I don't see that happening for a long time.

I think the standard is Vitamix but we have had great luck with our Ninja’s. We had one last 10 years and it only died bc someone spilled something sticky into the side vents and I assume it went into the motor. Our second ninja is now 4 years old and doing great!

I don’t think any toaster oven is BIFL. I will say that I recently got a Ninja Flip from Costco and I am in love with it. I haven’t turned on my regular oven since buying it. Heats up insanely fast and folds backward when you are done so saves counter space. Still sizable, it fits a frozen pizza and has all the different functions. Can’t say anything about life span yet but when it dies, I’m promptly getting another.

Sorry for your experience. Getting into the suggestion, as a recent person that bought a house and moved "for good" I did quite a bit of research on a lot of things. As you might know a lot of them are not BIFL, and some people will scream at you if the thing lasts only 30 years, but my answer to your list is: 1 - AllClad + LeCreuset (if you want cheaper options, cast iron skillet will do 80% of the things easy, do not sleep on things sold at Costco either, such as Tramontina and Ninja) 2 - I've been eyeing Thuma bed for a while. Solid reviews. If you have more money, I would go with a local Amish shop. For now I only have a creacky metal kingbedframe from wayfair that is going strong for 6 years. Mattress I got Helix, but at 2k I feel like I overpaid. 3 - I would say here its the most subjective. Do you have dogs? How big is your family? What style you going for? 230v or 110v? I'm very happy with the Ninja AF140EU, it has more power than most air fryers and it goes up to 240c, which really makes a difference for me. Heats up quickly and pretty quiet for an air fryer as well. Basket is dishwasher proof and everything. However I believe it's not sold in 110v countries.

Oddly, when I just want to cook a single serving of fries or nuggets I go back to my bin type instant essentials and that just works. I use paper liners to reduce cleanup work in both.

I have the Ninja Crispi version with Pyrex style cooking containers. I just throw them in the dishwasher. The top part is a little more involved to clean but can be done (screws). The top really doesn't get dirty unless you're really abusing it. You can buy extra glass cooking containers.

the trick is finding ones that have the motor strength to handle different textures without slowing down. otherwise you end up back with a knife and cutting board wondering why you spent the money. so I made a little list of ones that actually seem to hold up: cuisinart 7 cup pro classic: not overloaded with gimmicks, but it’s got the wattage and blade design to handle both fine slicing and heavier dough work without sounding like it’s dying. bowl plastic can feel brittle over time and capacity might feel small if you’re doing big weekly prep in one go. ninja professional xl: motor is a tank, which matters if you want to go from onions to dense dough without switching appliances. reversible shredding disc is actually useful if you want fine shreds without swapping machines. size is bulky and takes up a lot of counter space. nutribullet triple prep system: a bit different since it’s built to handle blending and processing on the same base, but the food processor attachment’s got the right discs for slicing, shredding, and chopping, plus a decent sized work bowl. food pusher design can make it awkward to feed longer veggies like carrots in one piece. the real thing is making sure whatever you pick can keep its edge and motor strength after months of use. hope it helps

Okay, I love a good non-stick pan and yes, I know they are not quite BIFL but I have had a Ninja fry pan set for a few years now and there is no peeling or scratches anywhere on the pans. You can fry anything including eggs in them without using oil or butter as a lubricant and the eggs don't stick. Clean up is a breeze. (I still use butter when I fry eggs!)

You should get a set of Nordic Ware baking sheets, they're inexpensive and don't warp. Cast iron or carbon steel pan for high heat cooking, also inexpensive. Toaster oven with powerful convection (to avoid having to get a dedicated air fryer) like a Ninja Foodie XL. Pressure cooker for quick soups and broths, helps cut down on food waste by keeping your bones and vegetable scraps. Chest freezer (if you have space) for said bones and scraps. Kiwi Brand knives, I get mine for 5$-10$ from my local asian grocery store. I just moved into a 2nd appartement and got doubles of all of these things for under 1000$. I kept the newer gear at the house and took all the used ones to the apt.

I've had the cheapest 3-qt Instant Pot crap out on me, but my current higher end Instant Pot (I think it's the Pro) has been going strong for five years now. Would definitely recommend. That said, I think any multicooker from any big brand will be just as good. Breville, Instant Pot, Crock Pot, Ninja, etc. You can also get a manual stovetop pressure cooker, but it's not much cheaper.

Most double walled stainless steel would be similar. My Zojirushi is amazing, but even my Britta double walled is ok. A few tips that I learned through the ages. If you want your water to be "ice cold" then fill the bottle mid-way, freeze it, and when you have an ice block fill the rest with water a few minutes before your departure. This would take time to thaw but will work. Stay away from the sun; keep the bottle inside your backpack. Less is more. If you just have a cap instead of a drinking straw, it's one less part to isolate. Having said all of that, I recently read a review about the Ninja bottle. It is apparently triple walled and not double walled, giving one more layer of isolation and insulation. I was going to suggest a Ninja Foodi (multi-cooker). It does everything the air fryer does, plus pressure and steam cooking. I got one in February for my birthday and have used it 2-3 times a week ever since. Being able to go from a raw chicken to a perfectly cooked roasted chicken in about an hour is amazing (18 min pressure + 30 min air fry + some prep).

Do you need a whole pot? Nespresso is like 100 bucks and the vertuo ones make espresso and coffee. Strong good cups too. Otherwise, a ninja drip coffee maker was good to me for awhile. I see the pour over and French press recommendations, both a pain in the ass for a morally and maybe no different cup than a machine drip. If you like the process and the routine then absolutely go for pour over or French press. Otherwise all drip and pour over coffee is pretty similar assuming you have good grounds and don’t have the cheapest shittiest coffee maker.

Not sure why people always feel the need to respond to these threads by saying "learn to use cast iron/stainless steel properly!" I use a nonstick pan for eggs and such, it's fine, they're not BIFL but the better ones can last a decently long time if used properly. They're easier to clean and less fussy overall. I love my cast iron but in my day-to-day life I appreciate the convenience of a good nonstick pan. To answer your question, I've owned a couple different ceramic skillets. They both eventually did start getting discolored/peeling. Apparently it's due to cooking over high heat, but I only used the second one over a low/medium flame and it still started peeling within a year. So I like ceramic in theory but I don't use them anymore. I've had better luck with a Ninja Neverstick pan. I'm not sure what they use for their nonstick coating (it might be Teflon) but it's fantastic. I've used it for years, I've even used it over high heat, but the cooking surface still looks brand new. There are other good brands as well like OXO (and their warranty process is fantastic, they're super flexible with replacements and they've never required me to send them the damaged product). So my tl;dr is that I wouldn't call ceramic a gimmick, but in my experience it's definitely a downgrade in most ways compared to Teflon.

I got the ninja foodi max 15 in 1 a few years ago and use it every day! It air fries, bakes/roasts, steams, pressure cooks, slow cooks, and a lot more. I love it so much I only use my oven maybe once a week.

We have both a vitamix and a ninja auto IQ. The vitamix is much more versatile but if you want a beast of a blender, you can’t go wrong with the ninja auto iq. It’s loud AF, it’s only downside. Should be in that price range.

If you're looking for the best air fryer out there, I highly recommend the Ninja Air Fryer Max XL. It consistently delivers the crispiest results, and it's super easy to use. The nonstick basket is a breeze to clean, and it's dishwasher safe, which is a huge plus for me. The only downside is that some might find the basket a bit small, but for cooking for two to four people, it's perfect.

I don't usually like Ninja as a brand but about 15 years ago Ninja had a model that was well regarded for it's large motor---and it's still running very strong--has a big capacity bin and single size bin--works great.

Same, if I'm making smoothies for my partner and I, or just myself for breakfast and lunch then I use it. So probably 2-5 times a week between smoothies and sauces for the last 3-4 years. I use a Ninja personal blender if it's just single serve, the 900 watt one. I wouldn't call if BIFL, but it gets used the days I don't use the vitamix, so a few times a week every week for a year and a half so far.

Immersion Blender: Ninja Vs Vitamix
Love my Vitamix immersion (bought from Costco 3 years ago). I’ve had Bamix in Australia and the Vitamix is better. I also have an Ank! The Vitamix is powerful, easy to clean, and the five speeds and head design help prevent splattering. The silicone head means it can be used in non-stick pots without scratching. However, I use it exclusively for soups and sauces that I’m blending in a pot (usually hot). Your use case speaks to a proper blender system far more than an immersion blender. We have the Ninja blender that comes with smoothie cups, and a blender jug can also do some food processor jobs like shredding. We have used the smoothie cups near daily, and the big blender/shredder weekly or so for both 3 years, all going very well. I bought extra smoothie cups and blender heads because I make curry pastes and ginger/garlic pastes. So the savoury cups/heads are kept separate and don’t make my morning smoothies taste like shrimp paste lol. I personally wouldn’t bother trying nut butters in anything less than a real Vitamix/Blendtex blender. Definitely the smoothies that come out of real Vitamix are are way smoother than our ninja smoothie cups but we’re happy.

I disagree. TBD if it's BIFL, but I bought a used Ninja blender in 2016 for I want to say $65 and I still use it nearly every day. I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. It doesn't have a pitcher though, just two 20oz cups and a full size food processor. I mainly use it for smoothies made with frozen fruit, but have also used it for sauces and pastes/dough.

If you need quantity because you drink coffee all day…Ninja Coffee machine….it makes coffee so fast, has a bunch of different settings. We got the Ninja Cafe Luxe a few months back and it's awesome. Its versatility is killer, especially since my wife is super picky and rarely wants the same thing for coffee that I do. Drip coffee? Check. Espresso? Check. Latte or Cappuccino? Check. Iced? Cold brew? Yup; any of those. Really impressed with it.

If you’re dropping up to $300 on an air fryer, you’re in prime territory for getting something that’ll genuinely make your life easier (and make you wonder why you didn’t upgrade sooner). The Breville smart oven air fryer is definitely a high end choice. It’s basically an air fryer + toaster oven hybrid, so if you want something that looks sleek and does more than just air frying then go for this! But if you want a straight up air frying powerhouse, the Ninja foodi dualzone is AMAZING. Two independent baskets mean you can cook different foods at different temps at the same time (no more waiting for round two of fries!). The Cosori dual blaze is is also really nice. It has heating elements on both the top and bottom so you don’t even need to flip your food mid cook. Ninja foodi is my holy grail. I’ve had it for 5 years. I do everything with it. I couldn’t recommend a better one. Super plus is you can remove the cooking basket and wash it. It’s not connected to plastic. Easy to clean. Lots of function. Pressure cooking, baking, dehydrating, slow cooker, air fryer. List goes on.

I bought a Ninja Foodi on sale for $189 and it lasted 4 years until the lights wouldn't come on in it anymore. It still fried and toasted at least 2 times a day everyday though. So we bought the same model again since the lights are not replaceable. Not technically BIFL, but we think it is worth every penny and inch of counterspace it takes up.

I had Gourmia with Analog dial that lasted for 4 years and gave up with the analog timer, rest of it was working as it should be. However I upgraded to the Ninja toaster/fryer that stands up vertical for space saving - they are super efficient and almost been used every day, we dont even use the regular Oven that has Wifi and what not, it took really long time to do anything for our needs. Our oven went out at the beginning of covid so I got one to make it through until we could get a new one. It was over a year until we got one. I've hardly used it as I use the ninja every day. It's just hubs and I also, kids are grown. It's just so convenient. I can cook a roast from froze in an hour, or throw in some muffins for 10 minutes without heating up the house. Pork steaks are so good air fried, and hubs does have to start the grill. Walmart still has some, but they aren't as heavy duty as my old one. Amazon has a few in the renewed section too. That's where I got my first one.

The one we have is like an air fryer, pressure cooker, slow cooker, dehydrator, and a couple other things. The newest model probably has more functions. Ours in like a 9 in 1. Also easy to clean! The pot is still as nonstick as the day we got it.

I actually sharpened our Ninja blades, which helped a lot. But you have to know how to sharpen, and be REALLY careful how you do it. I managed to do it without cutting myself, but next time I'll just use a sanding disc on my angle grinder.

We received a Chemex in an event "swag bag" about 2008; it's the true "buy it for life," we still have the same one. The wood and strap are holding up, it will never break on its own. I love the coffee from it, it's my preference by far. We only own an electric coffeemaker b/c my husband insists on it. So I buy him the Ninja coffeemaker, it's ok, probably the best one for under-$100 price range.

My tip would be to buy what you need, not a big set. I know other people will not like this, but I have the Ninja never stick set and love them. However the set came with more than I will need. Figure out which pieces you use most and get those! (Plus a cast iron pan is always a must!)

Frustratingly, when airfryers were new, I purchased a reconditioned Ninja aurfryer. 12 years later, I keep hoping it will kick the bucket so I can replace it with a more space friendly option. But no. That stupid airfryer is like the energizer bunny. I use it min 3 times a week. This afternoon, I cooked a whole chicken. She's still a champ.

8 year old magic bullet
I use a normal sized blender a lot, but for smoothies I always liked my magic bullet. Once the MB was toast, I bought a [Ninja Nutri Pro](https://i.imgur.com/3N86KpB_d.webp?maxwidth=760&fidelity=grand) (almost 8 years ago) and it still works like it’s brand new. I use it almost every day, and if you told me it was new out of the box I’d believe you! Highly suggest if looking for a personal blender like this. I mostly use it for smoothies or milkshakes, but also use it to make salad dressing, and to blend up some of my chunky soups to add it back into the main pot of soup (for thickening.) it also does well to chop up nuts when I don’t feel like getting my food processor out. I cook and bake every day and this thing has been a workhorse.

8 year old magic bullet
We just got rid of our Bullet. Not sure how long we had it, but over a decade. We had to replace the blades once because they were no longer turning. And the cups were starting to 'fade' and felt less clean. We also got rid of our old Ninja device at the same time. Replaced both with a Ninja Detect Power Blender Pro. No regrets!
