Not a car recc but as a non-car girl with a car dad, the best thing I've ever gotten for my car is a portable jumper pack for my car battery. They have them on Amazon and it's saved me a few times now. You don't have to wait on your dad, AAA, or a sketchy stranger to jump you. Plus, I've jumped a few people's cars and everyone is always amazed how easy it is. I have the NOCO Boost GB70, 10/10 would recommend to anyone but especially all the girlies

I recommend getting a [Noco GB40](https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GB40-UltraSafe-Lithium-Starter/dp/B015TKUPIC/). It's excellent imo. If you need something stronger just get a bigger Noco.

Virtually any of the Noco jump packs will work. I’ve got a cheap Canadian Tire brand one - smallest size they make and it easily starts a V8.

I think Noco and Gooloo are the two best options to consider. You can watch several of the Project Farm videos on YouTube to see them actually used and compared, and then reexamined again a year later. Noco is the premium option, Gooloo is the best bang for your buck.

Seconding NOCO. Beware off-brand no-name shit from Amazon. Lithium ion batteries hold a lot of energy. The last thing you want is your car ablaze because the cheap battery jumper you bought has no good fault protection built in.

I’d definitely recommend the NOCO Genius Boost. I’ve been using the GB40 for a couple years now and it’s been solid. It’s started my car in freezing temps without any issues, and the build quality feels way better than some of the cheaper ones I’ve seen. Totally worth it in my experience.

What power bank can use for many devices and for a long time
I use Bosch power tools batteries with a USB adapter. The adapter is about $15 (similar solutions available from other tools makers). I also use a NoCo jump start box. If necessary, both could provide power for a long time.

If you live in COLD climate, like, - 30 - 40 in the winters, get a noco booster. I use mine a dozen times a year easily.

Just bought 2 tenders (NOCO GENIUS1) my damn self which will live alternately on my mowers and my old and daugther's car over the winter. Advice I needed to take years ago. 1 This is a subreddit emphasizing products that are Durable, Practical, Proven, and Made-to-Last. Products that are well-made and durable (even if they won't last a lifetime) are accepted. Again....no one is saying a battery is for life. That's a lie. But....an AGM should last longer than a lead acid barring an issue.
