  While I agree there are better options both of these are not it. The ankarsrum is great and so is the new ooni depending on what end goal is. Especially for dough making. If it's just to make cakes or light stuff kitchen aids can be fine. Mine is going on 20 years but don't use it for dough because it screams in pain.

  Looking for a pizza oven that will actually last

  I have had the Ooni Pro 16, one of the older models, for 4 years and it is in great shape. Though I am in a very dry climate. The only thing that seems like it could break is the glass window and the gas attachment. But for wood and charcoal, it is just a fancy metal box. Not much to go wrong unless it gets really bent out of shape.

  I’ve had the Ooni Karu 12 for over 2 years—no issues, still going strong. Look for solid stainless steel and multi-fuel compatibility if you want something that lasts.

  My 1996 Kitchenaid stand mixer has finally failed. Need a recommendation.

  For bread making, get something made specifically for dough, like a Bosch stand mixer. I’ve repaired two kitchen aid mixers, I love them, but for making multiple loafs of bread a week they are not up to the task. My Bosch mixer makes better bread and never bogs down. I thought it was going to be a splurge but now it is a necessity. If you want something a bit fancier the Ankarsrum is phenomenal. Ooni also just launched a new spiral mixer, the Halo Pro that looks amazing. For bread there are much better options than a kitchen aid. If you just do a little bread and lots of other stuff, you really can’t replace it with anything else tho.
