  Washing machine, I know it gets asked about a lot but…

  i’d try oxiclean instead of the vinegar. it takes out the bacteria causing the smell.

  Damn... That sucks. I would try oxyclean, the powder kind that goes in the wash. I got sharpie out of a pillowcase with that stuff. But it might not budge- the one and only time I've seen GWAR- The fake blood dyed my blonde hair :(

  A soak in a hot oxiclean solution did wonders for my clothes after GWAROWEEN. Mostly cotton, though, but the dye GWAR used seemed to come out after a few hours with agitation.

  ISO Non toxic, non-smelly shower curtain liners?

  They make these little gel bead filled ‘dehumidifiers’ that are perfect for small spaces. They’re basically a silica gel thing that absorbs the water out of the air, then when they’re all filled with water, you plug them in to a normal outlet and it dries itself out to reuse again. They’re about the size of a trade paperback book so you can tuck a couple of them around. Under the sink, on the toilet lid, on the counter, in the closet. The pink is rust, and you’re gonna need a filter for that. Oxyclean (or generic, doesn’t matter) works real well in my bathroom for rust. Just make a paste and use hot-hot water and a scrub brush. I use a two layer shower curtain system. An inner 12g vinyl and an outer cotton. The inner goes into the tub during showers while the cotton stays out. If at all possible, since there is no ventilation in your bathroom, shower with the door open or at least cracked. Use a squeegee to get all of the water off of the walls and the inner curtain immediately after showering, before you dry yourself. Hope this helps!

  BIFL but doesn't last for life: Oxiclean. I will never not have it in my laundry room because it works. Bose speakers, we still had a set from the 80's until a few years ago. George Foreman grill. It works, maybe not as fat reducing as advertised, but it's useful. You can make a mean grilled cheese bagel on them too, one of the best 3am snacks at work.

  How should I wash this hat without damaging it?

  I soaked in oxyclean powder (it will lighten colours) and hot water for a while and then rinsed and air dried. Works well as long as the brim is water proof (ie made of plastic) under the fabric.

  I always hand wash. Let it soak in warm water with dish soap and a little Oxy Clean. Rinse and let it dry. If you want the brim to dry with a specific curve, wrap a rubber band on it before drying.

  Dishsoap mixed with some white vinegar in warm water, give it a scrub and a rinse, use a scrub brush. This should get the majority of it. For the stubborn bit that remains I would use a spray carpet stain remover like resolve or that oxyclean carpet stain remover and leave in direct sunlight to dry.

  Remove as much hardware as you can and wash the bag in your machine with oxy clean and detergent on the gentlest cycle. Then stuff with towels to air dry. Use leather conditioner on the leather parts.
