Down comforters, having difficulty finding a good brand.
I also vote pacific coast! I believe the comforter I'm currently laying under is almost as old as myself! I did JUST look them up by the name on the tag, and desiring the same kind of comforter... I see they've been acquired and then - as of this July - Rebranded! Perhaps this is the young millennial in me, but I am scared nothing is as it once was, in the way it will last 20+ years lolol cry...

High quality down comforter
Feathered Friends is great. You’ll also get good mileage out of a mid-weight down from Cuddledown or Pacific Coast if you want something that stays lofty for years. If temp differences are the issue, the Mellow Sleep temp-control comforter is also nice because each side feels slightly different. It’s not down but the dual-layer temp control helped a lot in my house.

BIFL Down Comforter
I have a Pacific Coast one from costco that was a great value (I think I got the Queen for $100?). No feathers out or anything, it was a sweethome value pick. I hear great things about Bean and Feathered Friends if money is no object!
