Peppermate. Large reservoir, adjustable metal grinder, grinds a lot with each turn, and has a clear, plastic container on the base to view and hold contents. Plus, no dust on your counter. Yes, it's plastic, but I've had it for 40 years and it's still going strong.

You might consider PepperMate . I got mine on Amazon. It is plastic and not wooden but it works great. It has a cover that prevents a mess when setting it down. The cover doubles as a container in which you can leave it in and still grind. You then remove the cover and dump it pinch the ground pepper. I have to admit I'm a little bit of a fanboy of Jacques Pepin and he used one in one of his old TV shows.
