  Trying out what Santa got me

  Heating up an oven and then cooking with it takes far more energy and heat than the Pizzazz. It will take 30+ minutes to cook in an oven with pre-heating. The Pizzazz will cook in 22ish minutes without needing to preheat. The Pizzazz heating elements are, like, 3.5 inches from both sides of the food. Toasty. In the South, it is hot as hell in the summer even without turning on my oven (aka the huge toxin-leaking gas-fueled hot box). The Pizzazz keeps my kitchen/home livable in the summer. I will bake bread in the winter for the added bonus of heating my home. Air fryers are great. Most of them aren't large enough for a frozen pizza, though. They can also waft more food smells than the Pizzazz, like when cooking frozen egg rolls. (My huge toxin-leaking gas-fueled hot box doesn't have a real vent for smells or heat.) I may build a solar oven to cook food outside this summer. The struggle is real.

  It *can* be but very much depends on the care, user, and if you got any of the suspect iterations. Mom got me one from the jump. Like just out in stores. Still works great and the non-stick has held up b/c I hand wash and know how to care/use nonstick in a safe manner. The timer and innards are still in out of box shape for me and the nonstick tray (the weak link of the pizzaz chain) is seasoned and only has some light pitting on edge spots I no longer put food over. (prob fine but it's an easy enough thing to bypass) I've seen some hellacious pans though that need to be tossed. Scratches are my level but I've seen actual flaking off which I'm nope outting and/or buying a replacement platter.

  I’ve had a pizzaz for 20+ years. In highschool, my brother and I ran cross country and would come home and each make a pizza. Still use the same pizzaz. In college I used it to cook just about everything. Pizza, toasted sandwiches, French fries, reheated leftovers, you name it. The great thing about it is you can start a cheese pizza and while it cooks, chop up onions and tomatoes and extra cheese and such and add them as it spins.
