What is the equivalent of "Apple removed 3.5mm jack" of your favorite products ?
Give a look to plex media server and the matching plexamp for audio. They were once integrated, but the decision to split audio from video was local and in this case very well executed. The license is optional but for the audio features well worth it. For video it's optional unless you travel a lot.

What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?
Even though it’s had a couple missteps, I’d say Plex.

What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?
I use Plex to stream live broadcast TV from an antenna at my house via a Silicon Dust HD-Homerun box. Primarily for live sports.

What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?
Same here Plex lifetime about 10 years ago. I watch my iPad in bed every night for 10 years before I go to sleep. Just recently Plex changed the ui for the iPad and now it’s trash. All the buttons are moved which I usually press in bed on my side so they are challenging to hit. It constantly pops up with an error while I am sleeping so now it just keeps the screen on all night until I clear the error. Not too mention it doesn’t auto play again if my air pod falls out, when I put it back in it used to continue but now I have try and hit the tiny play button. It’s just garbage for iPad now. I started using infuse and it’s way better. Connects to the same Plex library and even grabs the watch data

What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?
Ux on iOS is terrible. On chrome, it’s fine. But I use plex every single day and have been for over 10 years. I have a few friends that have access to my library. I’ve tried other alternatives, jellyfin, emby, kodi… but it’s kinda like being in the Apple ecosystem… it just works (mostly). I haven’t caught up on their news really, but nothing has changed for my routine over the years. I play movies and shows whenever I want. I will restart my computers every now and then to update my system, but plex just works. And it’s easy for everyone that wants to use it. There were times when I tried to change it up a little and use emby, but people really don’t like change when change doesnt need to happen.

What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?
CoinKeeper (expense tracking), AdGuard Premium, AdBlock (this is such a generic name ik, but I can tell you which one if you use iOS), Mela+ (the BEST for recipe management, it’s my holy grail). Plex (never paying a cent to Netflix again). Productivity: GoodNotes, Forest (app for focus). All lifetime/single purchases. All are used pretty much every day or close to it. These are also lifetime/single purchase but uses less frequently (still worth it, just don’t use them on daily as much): Dazz Pro (pic effects), Procreate.

What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?
Argh. I'm a pirate with a couple thousand movies and TV shows in my collection. I never have to worry about a show or movie I want to watch moving to another platform. I've tried Jellyfin but I didn't like the UI as much. Plex is a very polished product at this point.

Buy it for life digital products?
Bought Plex Pass for life in 2014. Can’t believe it’s been 11 years. So glad I did too because it’s fantastic and has updates rolling out often. If you like audio books consider looking into Prologue app on iOS. Great way to listen to your own collection that way.

Buy it for life digital products?
Plex bought in 2012 for 75€ full price and r/structuredapp a few weeks ago I tried to get for half off but my phone prevented it so support activated it for free, if the app is for you lifetime is worth it.

Best or good value life time subscriptions for an infant
Rosetta Stone (language learning) UK National Trust (parks in the UK) Libraries (free) SiriusXM (music, media) Plex (media transcoding, server, etc) Not for an infant but when you are a senior, get the US national park lifetime pass. Jealous it's not available to myself yet.
