If you are in a reasonably big city check the vendor lists for craft shows cause there are often some leather workers. Check the One of a Kind Show vendor listings. I know for a fact there are a bunch of leather workers who go, several of whom do bags or take custom work. And check out Popov leather. They get a lot of shoutouts on the buy Canadian sub for being legit. I think they do bags.

I cannot speak highly enough of poplov. I bought 4 belts from them now. 2 brown, 2 black. 1 of each is a dress belt and the other is my daily wear. Ive had them for about 2 years now, they are in better condition then belts I would have owned for a month. It is absolutely insane the difference in quality between these and the crap they sell in the stores. Honestly, if anyone reads this. Throw money at Popov, you won't need to buy more belts.

I can vouch for Popov leather, I've been rocking my full grain leather belt for over 5 years now and it's as strong as ever but looks even better now. You 100% did not have a full grain leather belt in that pic.

I own a Popov and a Hanks belt. They both get abused while I work. The Hank’s belt is more ridgid but gets uncomfortable if I need to crawl around under a house. If I need the mobility, I’ll wear the Popov, any other time I wear the Hanks.

Popov is great for full grain leather products. I've had the same wallet for over 7 years now and it's rock solid. Also have 2 belts that are both great. I really can't recommend them enough. They often have sales around holidays so if you are patient you can get some great deals on stuff that will last you forever.

Popov. Only time I've seen heavier leather was on a literal saddle. They aren't fancy with any crazy designs but if you want the most solid belt for the money that's the choice.

I've had a full grain harness leather belt from Orion leather company for just over 10 years, but they went out of business. It was wax-dipped and has a pull-up effect, and if you scratch it it seems to just magically heal itself over a couple wears, probably due to the oils redistributing within the belt. I'm pretty sure this will outlast me, unless I get too fat and outgrow it. It was stiff at first but has softened and molded itself to fit me perfectly now. If I ever need a replacement, I'll probably look for another harness leather belt from Hanks or Popov or someplace like that. I'd look for Chicago screws as the fastener, mine have held up really well

Need a slim bifold for myself as my current wallet is out of shape
Mitchell leather money clip wallets are super nice, mine lasted me about 12 years before I destroyed it on its probably 30th trip through the wash. Abused that thing and it held up for more then a decade still, has it not been for me it would easily be a lifelong piece. Replaced it with a popov money clip wallet that is also holding up extremely well, and hasn't gone through the wash yet!
