  What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?

  This might be a bit niche, but an an animation app called ToonSquid for iPad. The interface has some similarities to that of Procreate, there are an TON of different tools, and it's beginner friendly (at least in my experience). Downside is that it lacks proper documentation, and while it is quite user-friendly, you still have to figure stuff out. Also, there are some people that use it, so there are some resources and tips about this app you can find online, but not a ton. (Oh, yeah, and obviously, Procreate. hat one, too, is great value for your buck. TBH, the main reason I bought myself an iPad a few years ago. And I know, like, seven other people who did the same lol)

  What is the best application you have purchased with a one-time payment?

  Procreate for my iPad, especially because I used it for one sister’s wedding invitation calligraphy and my other sister used it to design her logo (she’d hand drawn it but wanted to get it on things like business cards and tags)

  My artist teenager has gotten so much use out of this app especially for the money I paid for it. We had a subscription to adobe for a year and it was a waste of money. Procreate allows them to do almost everything they want to do with their art.

  Honestly, the fact that Procreate costs as much as a ONE MONTH subscription to Photoshop, it’s bonkers. Sure the functionality isn’t the same but I can say, as an illustrator, Procreate really changed the game.

  CoinKeeper (expense tracking), AdGuard Premium, AdBlock (this is such a generic name ik, but I can tell you which one if you use iOS), Mela+ (the BEST for recipe management, it’s my holy grail). Plex (never paying a cent to Netflix again). Productivity: GoodNotes, Forest (app for focus). All lifetime/single purchases. All are used pretty much every day or close to it. These are also lifetime/single purchase but uses less frequently (still worth it, just don’t use them on daily as much): Dazz Pro (pic effects), Procreate.
