What’s a purchase that’s not fun, not flashy but now you swear by it?
My girlfriend actually prefers her Brita over the RO water I have. She finds the RO system makes her mouth feels dry after. It does add some minerals back in but probably not as much as desired here. I like the RO because I'm lazy and the water here tastes really bad. I also used to use a Pur pitcher and found it didn't always get the nasty taste out. And even when it did I'd have to then fill ice cube trays. My RO is plumbed right to my fridge for clean ice.

Best water filter pitcher?
Switching to a PUR pitcher with longlast filters gave me the same chlorine reduction, lasted twice as long, and saved me cash on replacements.

Brita Water Filter Pitcher... Any Alternatives??
Yea, this is a bit of concern. Water can leach from your teeth over the long term. Limited research but basically distilled water does raise some concerns long term. I switched to PUR which is not so extreme but still a strong filter. IMHO the potential negatives of Zero Water make it not worth it, dental care is expensive, and I regularly drink a lot of water, so protecting my teeth is obviously a concern for me.
