  Doc Martens - Solovair Blundstones - Red Backs Would be my recommendation, both brands retain quality & home market production whilst being only marginally more expensive than the venture capital backed companies.

  Blundstones purchased in September 2017.

  Blundstone used to be the go to workboot in Australia until they closed down the factory in Tasmania and now they are made in china by people who don’t care but redbacks are still okay or Rossies a south Australian company little known but make pretty good boots
